14.01.2022 When the Gold Creek Country Club undertook a review of operations they did some research to understand local and international trends in Golf. This review, in part, laid the foundations for the re:imagine project and whilst nothing has been decided about what changes may need to happen, you can read some of the findings of their research on our website (https://reimaginegoldcreek.com.au/planning-for-the-future/).

13.01.2022 Over the weekend we visited over 150 near neighbours to the re:imagine site to provide information and answer questions. If you didn't recieve a visit, please get in contact and we can get some information to you. https://reimaginegoldcreek.com.au/contact-us

What would you leave out? What things need to be considered? Visit https://reimaginegoldcreek.com.au/get-involved/ to get your copy or contact us for a hard copy.

09.01.2022 The re:imagine community team recently had the opportunity to sit down with DJ Flanders, Vice President of Operations, Troon International to ask him some questions about the future of golf. We asked him the following: 1. Do you have any reflections golf industry in Canberra? Are you aware of any changes? 2. What are your thoughts on golf across Australia? 3. Have you been noticing any trends internationally that golf club operators will have to think about? 4. Are there any ...special features of the Gold Creek Country Club that Troon would seek to build on? 5. There has been a lot of discussion around the term ‘championship 18 hole golf course’. Are you able to define this for us? Does the term championship relate to any specific course attributes? See more

08.01.2022 Thanks for your feedback regarding the mounds of soil located down the end of the course near Cockington Green. As it is not part of the formal golf course, the Country Club has used this area for the past 5 years to store soil prior to use in course maintenance activities. In recent days equipment has been levelling the soil mounds and the area will be grassed. This will help to improve the appearance of the area and minimise wind dispersion.... We wanted to reinforce that this is not part of anything more. There have been no plans drawn up, no development applications to lodge. We are still in Phase 1 of our consultation program.
