23.01.2022 All hype aside, ‘mindfulness’ simply means paying attention to the present moment. Practising mindfulness can help you to cope with everyday life and deal with tough times. It can also help you to concentrate, relax and be more productive. Here are some different ways you can build mindfulness. It’s really helped me grow. Focus only on the present moment You can develop mindfulness during regular activities such as when walking, driving or even brushing your teeth. The key is... to try and focus only on the present moment and not pay too much attention to your thoughts about the past or the future. Concentrate on what's happening around you When you concentrate on what’s happening around you, you’re less likely to get caught up in your thoughts. Try not to be judgemental about anything you notice This is tricky to do, but try not to label things as ‘good’ or ‘bad’. 13.01.2022 I Ingredients required: 1 cup coconut oil... 1 + 1/4 cup coconut sugar 1 egg + 1 egg yolk 1 tbs vanilla extract 1 cup organic oats 2 cups wholemeal spelt flour (use rice flour for GF if needed) Himalayan salt 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp baking powder 1 + 1/2 cups organic dark chocolate chips Method- Pre-heat oven -160 drgrees fan forced melt coconut oil and blend together with coconut sugar until creamed. Then add eggs. 1 egg and 1 egg yolk and vanilla exract. Combine all dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Then add wet ingredients mix until combined then add in choc chips. Place on baking tray quiet small flatten out leaving good gap as they do expand. Cook for 13 min for a nice chewy centre. Enjoy!
