15.01.2022 First run in months today. A persistent strain of the calf had resulted in a 1.2cm tear of the soleus muscle. I had continued to push it too far too early for 6-9 months. But now I've rested, done as much rehab as I can, ventured out, and got through today's session ok. Having said that, today was a baby step and there is a long way to go to get back to near where I was 2-3 months ago. Happy to chat with anyone who is going through similar injury and rehab situations so please inbox me.
