25.01.2022 This gorgeous happy woman is Pat, and today I attended Pat’s funeral. I met Pat last Friday as I was the photographer at her granddaughter’s wedding and sadly a few moments after I took this image Pat was taken out to get some fresh air and Pat stopped breathing and the night took a drastic turn for her and her family. The next day the bride had let me know that her grandmother had passed away and was wondering if I could send through any photos that I might have taken of her... Gran during the day. I sent through a whole bunch and I was a little worried because I didn’t want to upset anyone with sending through her last moments on the dance floor. Before I knew it I was being contacted by family members left right and centre saying how much the images have helped them deal with what their loss because they showed how amazingly happy she was, she had an incredible day and was beyond delighted to be there and see her granddaughter get married. While listening to the eulogy today from her sister, she was sharing how Pat loved to dance and did a lot of dancing when she was younger and it made her happy, so it was quite fitting that she went out happy and dancing!!! Also I just want to add I loved seeing the slideshow that the family put together of Pat’s life. I could just imagine the photo albums that they were taken and scanned from, print your photos peeps, don’t leave them on your phones or computers, print them and put them in albums, keep them in Tupperware containers, get albums made, because you and your future generations will cherish them. 21.01.2022 Two weeks old and already Dad’s girl

21.01.2022 I got up early this morning to get stuck into some editing and I am starting with Jonny & Zara’s wedding. A couple of weeks back peeps got together in a family backyard to celebrate Jonny & Zara and their nuptials. Now these two are some of my favourite people ever, and I am not just saying that, so much uniqueness, joy, life, and realness oozes out of them and it makes it way into your feels and you can’t help but smile and be happy. It was a total honour to be behind the camera on their wedding day where it was quite obvious that I am not the only one that feels this way about them.

21.01.2022 Yesterday afternoon I got to hang out with this amazing woman and take some pics of her baby bump. I am beyond excited for everything that is going to take place for her in the next five weeks. I was so inspired by the way that she has decided to jump in and go after who and what she wants in life. It was a timely motivational boost after having a bit of a crappy start to 2018

20.01.2022 Is having your wedding celebrations coincide with Riverfire a good thing? The answer is yes peoples, yes yes it is!!! Even when your photographer drives in out of Brisbane a bajillion times to try and get to their carpark for the reception, the answer is still yes. Disclaimer: The photographer (me ) is crap at driving in Brisbane even when there are no road blocks

13.01.2022 Sunday’s Adventure involved being followed by a crazy lady for 20 minutes so that she could yell at the driver of our entourage for cutting her off, finding awesome random churches in Ipswich, and meeting Megan Cooper who is not only a very talent country singer/songwriter but is also just generally a pretty awesome person

13.01.2022 It is Muppets Birthday!! This little ratbag has been in my life for six years. To celebrate I decide to dress her up as an Ewok purely for selfish reasons because I have always wanted my own Ewok and it was pretty fricken cute. Money well spent!

I am honestly so grateful that I get to capture precious moments of Dad's with their kids, because I know that one day they are going to treasure those photos of their childhood as much as I treasure mine!
