02.01.2022 #Repost @lyndsey_hookway with @make_repost Clever things our bodies. The thing is, it's actually pretty hard to stop a baby falling asleep feeding. Not only... does breastmilk contain many of these amazing hormones and neurotransmitters, but your baby's body actually releases some of them in response to feeding. Falling asleep is an almost inevitable consequence of a feed. So all those books and professionals telling you avoid letting your baby fall asleep feeding (whether on the breast or bottle)..... They just don't understand biology my friends.
