14.01.2022 With the heat of summer well and truly upon us, there are a few little jobs around the house that really need to be done to ensure that your property is being maintained and your appliances work efficiently. 1. Make sure you have cleaned all your airconditioning vents and filters. Clogged filters and vents stop efficient and effective operation of your unit. What's the point in having an airconditioner if it isnt keeping you cool. 2. Make sure your ceiling fans are dust ...free. The dust can cause clogging of the mechanisms and stop them operating efficiently. 3. Lucky enough to have a pool - the heat can work against you! Take your water in to get tested. You might need to adjust your chlorination levels to keep your pool in swim ready condition. 4. Remove any piles of green waste from around the property. Did you know that piles of grass clippings and green waste create the perfect environment for snakes and vermin. 5. Check all the downpipes are connected and storm water can clear away! If they are cracked, broken or disconnected, please let us know so we can get them repaired. Storm season comes fast and we want to protect your property from damage. 6. Gutters visibly clogged with leaves and twigs - please let us know. Water can easily flow back into the property and cause damage.
