21.01.2022 Hope to see a lot of new faces at the Repair Café Bassendean AGM and Volunteer Appreciation Morning, this morning at 11am at Caff On Broadway- 3A Broadway, Bassendean Plenty of parking along Railway Parade and at the train station. Don’t forget you will need to download and scan the SafeWA app or sign in on arrival.

21.01.2022 Did you know that O2 Café will give you 50c discount if you use your own cup, rather than a disposable takeaway cup? How amazing is that! My coffee today was $3.70. I feel like I’m in Melbourne (but sort of glad I’m not) Globally 500 billion coffee cups end up in landfill each year - numbers we just can’t sustain. Who else do you know in Bassendean that gives a keep cup discount?

15.01.2022 Excellent Repair Café session today at the Guildford Town Hall in partnership with the fantastic team from Transition Town Guildford and their Really Really Free Market. One of our busiest sessions, lots of new faces and lots of repairs. Thank you to our amazing volunteers for giving up your Sunday morning to make a difference in our Community and to fight the war on waste. Next session on July 11th, and future sessions, will be at the Bassendean Youth Services Centre (BYS) which we’re able to use thanks to the Town of Bassendean. Always remember we would love more of you to join us, and keep a look out for our next venture Share Shed Bassendean. We would love you to join us for a Share Shed information session and brainstorming night, tomorrow night, Monday 14th June at 6pm at BYS.

O2 Café won’t have a full breakfast menu but will have deluxe coffee and cake - what more could you ask for! 9:30 - 12 Make sure you’re not late if you have anything electrical to be repaired. See you all there - and remember we are an amazing community that runs on volunteers and we always need more.

07.01.2022 Fantastic day today for our final Repair Café of the year. Even Elf On The Shelf made a visit. Thank you to all our amazing volunteers and to our wonderful hosts O2 Café - the place is looking fantastic and the food was first class. AGM and volunteer appreciation morning coming up on the 6th December- so come along if you are part of the Repair Café or want to know more about what we do and how you can join us.
