20.01.2022 These beauties just landed and I just had to take one home. They are hand weaved in Vietnam from sustainable, eco friendly materials. Made by local women Seagrass and Water hyacinth baskets are handcrafted at village level in Northern Vietnam allowing income into rural communities where employment opportunities are minimal. All baskets are entirely natural and organic, grown eco-sustainably. These baskets will last indefinitely and at the end of their useful life will break down organically in a few months. Perfect Xmas gift or treat yourself.

17.01.2022 It’s a little chilly so warm yourself up with a Coconut Pumpkin soup by @spiralfoods in-house chef Norie. It’s a warm, soothing, and creamy dinner to help you power through the rest of the weekend. Ingredients (4 servings) -------------------------------- 1Tbsp Spiral Organic Virgin Coconut Oil... 1 onion, sliced thinly 1-2tsp cumin powder 1 butternut pumpkin, peeled thick and chopped in 3cm dice (about 800g) 2C water 1 sachet Spiral Instant Dashi 2Tbsp Spiral Shiro Miso Paste 1/2C Spiral Organic Coconut Milk 1Tbsp finely grated ginger Salt and pepper to taste chopped coriander and 1-2tbsp, pumpkin seeds for garnish some extra coconut milk to drizzle Method ---------- 1. In a pot, heat coconut oil, add onion and saute until translucent, add cumin and stir until fragrant. Add pumpkin and stir through. 2. Add water and dashi paste, when it comes to the boil, simmer with lid until pumpkin becomes tender. 3. In a small bowl, dilute miso with a part of the pot water and return to the pot. Stir and remove from heat. 4. Puree with the stick blender (or transfer it to the blender and puree) and add coconut milk. Heat again and add ginger, salt and pepper to taste. 5. 08.01.2022 We are seeking an enthusiastic trainee to join the Replenish organic team. This role involves the setup, display and maintenance of our organic fruit and vegetable section. You would also be required to perform cleaning, general retail tasks, customer service and deliver organic boxes to our lovely customers. The successful applicant would be required to undertake the Polytechnics Certificate III in greengrocery which is delivered via online study. Replenish would assist with... the cost of completing this course. https://www.melbournepolytechnic.edu.au//cer/greengrocery/ https://www.melbournepolytechnic.edu.au//melbourne-market/ This is a full time 12-month traineeship approximately 38 hours a week. Ongoing employment would be considered after this period. The shifts would be varied (over 5 days) but there are some very early starts and some weekend work. We need a positive, enthusiastic, friendly person who loves to interact with customers and looking for a long term role in the organic produce, retail industry. Don't worry, these aren't as naughty as they look Ingredients 1 cup Lotus Super-Fine Almond Flour 1 cup pitted Dates... 2 Tablespoons coconut oil 1 teaspoon vanilla Choc chips, cocoa nibs or other additions Method In a blender pulse the almond flour, dates, coconut oil and vanilla until it comes together as a dough. You can substitute the coconut oil for another fat like cashew, peanut or coconut butter. Add in your additions like raw cocoa nibs, rolled oats, desiccated coconut or chopped nuts and roll into balls. Refrigerate or keep in an airtight container and enjoy. For a gingerbread version add 1 tablespoon grated ginger. For a cinnamon-apple version add 1 teaspoon cinnamon and dried diced apple.
