25.01.2022 Happy Australia Day to everyone today. Remember to always ensure gas safety around you BBQ. Every season it's a good idea to change your 0-ring on the connection point. If unit has not been used for some time the 0-ring may be cracked, letting gas escape. A simple check and replacement could save you from disaster in your BBQ area. This video was due to a gas cylinder leaking and the BBQ positioned close to the home. Follow this link for further, simple safety tips. http://www.esv.vic.gov.au///Gas-safety-outdoors/BBQ-safety

18.01.2022 With the warm weather on its way, the home pool environment is often a place of fun and enjoyment. However, home pools are a location with a high risk of drowning, particularly for children under five years of age. Pool fencing and supervision are the most effective means of child drowning prevention with active adult supervision being required at all times when a child is in the pool or surrounding area. And please, please learn CPR!!!!!!!!!

17.01.2022 From all the staff at Rescue1 we would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter. Over this long weekend, please ensure that you all stay safe. Here are a couple of simple, yet effective, tips. BBQ Safety - Check your gas cylinder, connections, hoses, o-rings before using your barbeque. Always have a fire extinguisher near by. Cooking Inside - Having a good clean, clear surface to cook around will ensure that any quick response, will not be hampered by clutter. Always ensure yo...u have a fire blanket and or extinguisher close by. Never place burning oil into the sink and try to extinguish with water. Always cover pot or pan with a fire blanket or use an extinguisher. Please take care on our roads to and from family lunches and dinners.

11.01.2022 New pictures from a recent fire in one of Liby’s biggest oil ports, spectacular shots from an awful situation. This fire destroyed 2 million barrels of crude and causing total damages and losses at $213 million dollars. The fire started on Dec 25th and was finally put out on 3rd January. One picture you can see a shot from NASA’s Earth Observatory still going, a few days after the fire had started. If anyone can slot in an appropriate comment for the last picture, as to what piece of equipment this fire fighter is asking for, feel free to comment.
