25.01.2022 Making a more useable space in this laundry. Cavity sliding door goes and a shorter wall is built allowing better access to the back door. Plumbing for washing machine and floor waste relocated into the wall prior to tiling.

24.01.2022 This bathroom from the 80's was original and very tired. The floor had rotted out from leaks (see earlier post) and was replaced. Other than the floor the bones of the room were in a solid condition and was refreshed with new tiles, vanity and mirror. The shower had been repaired, tiled and a new screen some years earlier and was left as is reducing the cost of this upgrade.

23.01.2022 Changing the layout of this laundry to make better use of available space.

23.01.2022 Older home updated with ducted heating. This is the return air shaft completed and ready for painting. The filtered return air inlet faces the kitchen/dining area.

22.01.2022 A new trough and tiling has made a huge difference in this tired laundry.

16.01.2022 This room had solid brick walls and it tended to be quite hot in the summer and cold in the winter. We framed and insulated the walls and plastered. The front door was replaced with a new custom made door that was double glazed. The change was incredible with far less temperature fluctuation and was now extremely quiet with the insulation, plaster and the double glazed door.

11.01.2022 A very 80's bathroom with a lot of wasted space upgraded to better utilise the available space.

08.01.2022 Changing the layout of this kitchen at the time of renovation provided a more ergonomic environment and more functional storage than before. There's also a dishwasher fitted.

05.01.2022 These old style gas wall furnaces and an arch can really date a property, especially when modernising the areas around them.

04.01.2022 Changing the layout of this bathroom/ensuite to take advantage of wasted space in the original design. The original entry door was removed to allow the new 1200x900 shower base across it as access was available through the main bedroom. There was also enough space for a 260mm full width shelf in the shower with a shower screen custom made to suit.

02.01.2022 Showers in older properties fail over time as water penetrates behind the tiles causing the plaster to become water damaged and fail. A moisture barrier (waterproofing) will prevent this from reoccurring. The original plaster was replaced with a modern plaster more suitable for wet environments and the original shower screen was able to be reused in this case with minor modifications.
