20.01.2022 Which North Adelaide street is this? Taken by our local identity Keith Conlon, he says these State Heritage grand semi-detached houses have seen some distinguished residents, including onetime Premier Arthur Blyth, Adelaide Mayor Sir Lewis Cohen and Dr Edward Stirling, who was the first to champion the vote for women in the SA Parliament. The imposing 1866 building is an early sign of the economic boom in South Australia over two decades from the mid 1860s.

15.01.2022 Good to see today the grand home and gardens at 306 Ward Street - FARONA’s first battle to save North Adelaide’s most loved properties from being demolished - now well lived in and maintained by the owner Calvary Hospital. A much better outcome than becoming mostly just a carpark as was the original plan by Calvary two years back. Thank you Calvary!

09.01.2022 Coming to one of our most prominent corners:

09.01.2022 The Advertiser on us North Adelaideans being able to save the historic - and beautiful - bluestone home on Childers Street one more time. Not over yet, as the owner may try other ways to demolish the home, but for today, another win is a win! 'The decision was welcomed by Friends of North Adelaide spokesman, Valdis Dunis, who said Mr Matthews was still able to develop a large part of the block while keeping the cottage intact. What happens down the back doesn’t affect the c...ommunity and the environment and keeps the bluestone cottage at the front so it is a win-win for all, he said. Nearby resident, former Labor attorney-general Chris Sumner, said the decision was the appropriate outcome. We are delighted, he said. This is a classic bluestone and an important part of North Adelaide’s heritage which should be retained".' https://www.adelaidenow.com.au//29029b66712876ccc3154d4e2b

08.01.2022 Can only enjoy this in North Adelaide's (former) fire station:

06.01.2022 What do our supporters think of this Beach house being built in North Adelaide ?

06.01.2022 Good news! We have won again! For those who love our high-quality bluestone homes in North Adelaide, especially this one under threat of demolition in Childers Street that so many of us have been campaigning to save, it is safe once more! Last night the second attempt to get approval to demolish this home was rejected again by council's Assessment Panel.... This time it was even a bit crazy with the person applying for the demolition not even owning the property, thanks to SA's weird laws allowing this. There were technical problems with the application, but one would like to think that the full house in the gallery last night of so many of us concerned people and all the negative publicity over these months, plus protests to Councillors, admin staff and the Lord Mayor, and the new architectural plans showing there are better ways to add more units at the back without demolishing the front bluestone all added up in this rejection. It is felt that there won't be another atempt - if any - till at least next year. Fingers crossed that they give up seeing the community is against the demolition and that there are smarter ways to add value to this property. Thanks to all who raised their voices, contacting key people, etc. If we are lucky enough, it may be like 306 Ward Street where Calvary Hospital now has - after multiple attempts to demolish that beautiful hertiage home and gardens to turn it in to a car park - given up, and let the property stand as is as a residential home.
