25.01.2022 Captn Ken looking the part of longtime sailor as he clears into customs in Port Resolution, Vanuatu. Its his final foreign check-in. Only a ‘Vanuatu to Gold Coast’ solo sail remains to get him home to Oz. One circumnavigation of the globe nearly completed!

21.01.2022 The remote eastern islands of Fiji, in the Lau group are not easy to get to, but oh so worth it. The crew and even Captn K were humbled and WOWED. The Fijian ‘Bay of Islands’, which we absolutely fell in love with make the list of Top 10 most beautiful spots in the world. No arguments from us. It was simply breathtakingly beautiful. 13.01.2022 Home, Cold Home! Sydney forecast: cool to mild and mostly sunny day. Emphasis on COOL, methinks. Frigging cold, actually, since the heater is heatless. But then there is the BATH. Warm and soapy. Glorious. aaaahhhh. Cupcake, lover of hot climes, is suddenly happily cold, telling me to toughen up, grow a backbone, etc. Meanwhile, Ressie is happily tucked in at Sanctuary Cove marina. Looking at her, its hard to imagine she's just trotted around the world. Saying goodbye to the ARC family In Port Via was heart-wrenching. Its been a blast! Thank you, wonderful ARC people, from all those who sail Ressie. Luv you all, and fair sailing!

09.01.2022 A magical week aboard Resolute 11 with sister Judy and brother-in-law James in Fiji. The circumnavigation is almost done. Resolute 11 is preparing for the final leg home via Vanuatu. Judy and James departed yesterday after a fabulous but massive week with just about everything thrown in .. Kayaking, snorkelling, hairy navigating through coral reefs, man overboards (ie. dinghy accidents..), storms, sunsets from heaven, birthday celebrations, new friends, farewells and yes, some relaxation too. This First Mate is profoundly sad to be finished her sailing round the world as a non-sailor. Bravo Captn Ken for endless patience. #Resolutecat #Worldarc #Fiji
