15.01.2022 The Merry Widow is probably Vienna's most romantic operetta written by Franz Lehar. On Sunday 3 December Anna Stephens and Tom Holownia will take on the role of love birds in a well-known duet "I love you so" accompanied by Resonance Ensemble. But, did you know that the innocent operetta was Hitler's favourite piece? http://www.tabletmag.com//the-merry-widows-fling-with-hitl

02.01.2022 The Nutcracker is holiday tradition. Every year, millions of Nutcracker fans attend local productions of the famous ballet at area concert halls, theaters, and performance venues. The Nutcracker is a two-act ballet with a score written by Pyotr Ilyrich Tchaikovsky. Its based on the story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King by E.T.A Hoffman. The work is probably the most famous ballet in the world and is synonymous with the Christmas season. While Santa and his reindeer make ...nary an appearance, the story of The Nutcracker is set on Christmas Eve and its characters and settings embody the spirit of the season. Other Yule Tide accoutrements include a Christmas tree, a Christmas party, and of course, a wooden nutcracker. Join the Resonance in "December Delights" concert on Sunday 3 December and hear some of delightful dances from the Nutcracker suite. See more
