25.01.2022 It’s the final week of the Sentient Riding Club... but don’t be sad! Tomorrow’s the day of the mini comp so there will be rosettes and celebration of all that’s... been achieved by our wonderful members. As the course progressed, members helped one another nut out problems on the Equisimulator, horses became calm and happy in the environment, rider confidence and mindsets improved, horses and riders were treated to relaxing treatments with the Equissage, and most of all this wonderful group of ladies built each other up and felt good about their progress. Well done horses and riders - I am so proud of you and can’t wait until tomorrow. Big thank you to Jacky at Somersby Paddock for the use of your beautiful venue. The best news of all....... 24.01.2022 Do you want to take your horse out but don’t want the pressure of a clinic or competition? Or want to go out and about and enjoy a social day with your horse whilst having something to work towards? Sentient Riding Club is a 5 week course for any level, whether you are only walking, or want to hone your dressage skills. It is an ideal way to build confidence and introduce your horse to going out. You can do things at your own pace in a social, supportive environment. Additional private lessons are available at a discounted rate. Current members recommend - the combination of Equisimulator and lessons with your horse working on classical dressage movements enable relationships and skills to develop. Small groups only - max 5 in the morning and 5 in the afternoon. Safety and confidence building are a priority. Now on Saturdays

For those of you who are still able t...o ride, I am looking into teaching lessons via Zoom on the weekends. This has the added advantage that I can teach you wherever you are in the world! Next Saturday, 18th April, I will be having an open day which means that you can try out your first Zoom lesson for free! No strings attached - I hope this lifts your spirits and motivates you to try something new. (Limited spots available). Please comment below with your preferred time slot if you would like a session. 18.01.2022 What a great opportunity to spend time with your horse and finally resolve those nagging issues... but wait, you have nobody to help you or guide you - where do you start? You are stuck at home and so am I! We are in this together! To give you some direction in this tricky time, send me a short video or describe an issue you are having and I will send you some free advice. If you can’t ride at the moment, let’s cheer each other up - comment below with a photo of you and your horse enjoying one another together.

14.01.2022 Sentient Riding is back for 2021 with a revamp! The same services will be available, with more flexibility. Now running once a month for 6 months, on the first... Saturday of each month. Members have the option of a discounted group and/or private lesson (privates are subject to availability). Group size no bigger than 5. Equisimulator mini lessons will be available free of charge with any paid lesson, and the Equisimulator will also be available for practice. Mini comp on the final session! Casual lessons can also be booked: limited availability. Message me for more details and to join up! (Limited spots available)

09.01.2022 Cygnet Riding Club has broken a couple of records! I believe this may be the furthest distance ever travelled by an Equisimulator: 3,568km round trip, including... a 12 hour ferry ride. Plus the most lessons I have ever taught at one location - a total of 37 lessons (some on horses and some on the Equisimulator). I am halfway through my 6 day stint, and loving it. I have been honoured to meet a really lovely group of people and horses. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching each and every one of you. Thank you so much for hosting me, and especially to Lesley Parker who has been so generous to share her house with me and my two children plus friend and her children! Also has put many, many hours into organising this and making it happen. Lesley has been riding her gorgeous Welsh cob Magic using Enlightened Equitation methods for many years, despite there being no EE teachers in Tasmania to help her. She has done a wonderful job. 08.01.2022 CENTRAL COAST 5 day course with Diana Waters, every Wednesday from 6th May - 3rd June Early bird discount if you pay by 17th March Package includes positional t...raining on the Equisimulator, unlimited use of the Equisimulator every Wednesday throughout the course, group lessons working towards your chosen Sentient Riding Test (week 2,3,4) and a Sentient Riding Mini Comp (week 5). Private lessons are available for participants during the day at an additional cost. Sentient riding tests are for all abilities, including walk only tests. You will learn to work in harmony with your horse and develop his or her balance and lightness, in a relaxed and supportive environment. Places are strictly limited to ensure quality. 07.01.2022 Preparing for Horse Friends which will be starting the first week of February. If anyone knows any horse loving girls aged 8-13 who would love to soothe their... senses and meet like minded girls in a stunningly beautiful setting in Ourimbah, please send them my way. This term we will be reading through a chapter book while they relax in hammocks after a hard week at school. Then interactions with lovely gentle horses and a chance to get to know one another. No riding, no prior experience necessary. See more

05.01.2022 Congratulations to the prizewinners! First place Tara and Chaz, Second place Brenda and Bodhi, Third place Sylvia and Rimrock.... Rosettes for the riders and carrots for the horses! Today the members enjoyed private lessons and Equisimulator lessons before riding the tests they have been preparing over the past 5 weeks. Followed by some socially distanced bubbly to celebrate: What a wonderful way to round off the first 5 weeks of Sentient Riding Club. Due to popular demand, Sentient Riding Club will continue to run on Saturdays, restarting in the next few weeks. Spaces will be strictly limited to enable plenty of individual attention.
