18.01.2022 Hi all, Firstly, I apologise in advance for this being such a long post. We’d like to thank the people that have supported us over the years as we try to figure out where we go from here. As most of you know many people are struggling with this pandemic and we are one of many. It’s a very scary time, especially for people in the entertainment industry like us, as shows and events are being cancelled left right and centre. We implore that the government starts assisting busin...esses straight away. There is little financial support being offered and with too long waiting times. In the time we’re supposed to hold on for help that’s on its way we could lose everything. We’re desperately trying to keep paying employee wages and do right by our employees, but times are tough, and decisions are hard. We are currently working on how we deliver our services so that we can adapt to the situation and continue our next run of jobs but unfortunately we are being knocked down by state government and to top it off at this stage they are insisting that we still have to pay our licence fees which are due in May with very little to no income. We’ve spent the past 15 years building our business and the thought of possibly losing it all is devastating through no fault of our own. We’re unsure what the future holds for us but don’t count us out yet. Over the years we’ve learnt to fight so this time will not be any different. We are exploring new ways that we can try to pull ourselves out of this and are looking at developing our own range of reptile food. If anyone is interested or know of anyone who would be interested, please let us know. We are still currently taking bookings for later in the year for school/kindy runs and any other events still going ahead. We know we are not alone in this situation and in these difficult and scary times please keep in mind those who are struggling and the detrimental impact this event will have on so many people’s mental health. Please be supportive and be kind because you don’t know what people are going through in such a stressful time of uncertainty. In this difficult time, we are so thankful to have such wonderful employees and family that have been so supportive. We hope you all stay safe during this time and we’ll see you all on the other side. Thanks, David and Wendy

08.01.2022 Hi everybody, sorry for being so silent since our last post, but we have been busy. As we had a complete shutdown due to Covid-19 we had to come up with a solution that will be part of our branding for the long haul in case something else happens that causes our events, workshops and training etc. to stop. Along with many small and micro-businesses we are outside of the rules for 98% of the government assistance. Instead of choosing to sit back and hope that we survive, we have been busy developing Reptile Eats. This is a fresh new way to feed your reptiles. Head on over to our Fb page: reptile eats, or to our website to see what we have been doing www.reptileeats.com.au
