23.01.2022 ANZAC bus stop revamp, adding a Gallipoli theme to the Kalgoorlie St bus stop - at which we had a SANDBAG protest - and a Vietnam War theme to the Anzac St bus stop. After the unveiling, we retired to the Anzac Cottage for some speeches and a sumptuous spread (enough to feed an army!)

12.01.2022 Hi to all, Been a tad busy, but also feeling down from time to time, as have a lot on my plate! Welcome to the new honorary members of our group, who, although not affected as much as some members, but nevertheless are not happy (still) with Transperth's decision chop our part of route 15. You may have noticed that all bus shelters but the Adshel bus stop on Brady St have been razed to the ground, by the PTA no less! Why would they waste money to do this, when the seating ...and shelter aspects provide amenity to the community? REVENGE on our recalcitrance - oh, and to stamp their authority on the situation (... and to demoralise us from fighting!) As I recall, the original Star Wars had three episodes, the third being Revenge of the Jedi. So Jedi knights of route 15, we must use the FORCE! We now have some social media platforms in place to help in the fight. 10.01.2022 Please support these people - another example of government illegality, just as in our case. In our situation, the State government has ignored the UN Convention on the Rights of Disabled People by not taking the PTA to task about their poor bus routing in our case.

WE have an appeal from our disability complaint about the bus route 15 changes in the Equal Opportunity Commission which went to the State Administrative Tribunal. Those who can make it are welcome to attend. The details are below:... GDA 5/16 - KRYSIAK v. PUBLIC TRANSPORT AUTHORITY Date : Wednesday 22 March 2017 Time : 10:00 am Location: Supreme Court David Malcolm Justice Centre 28 Barrack Street, Perth (behind the Perth Town Hall) Duration: up to 3 hours (We can all have lunch across the road, or at the Perth Station Community Centre, or the RSL do a great, good value menu too! Make a day of it and if we win, it can be a celebration!) For those who may find it hard to get there, we will be ordering a MAXI taxi (shared cost of about $5 one way - the more people, the less is the cost), so let me know as soon as possible whether you need transport there and back. He was a top bloke and helped us out a lot by educating our group and answering all of our questions, as well as introducing us to the Commissioner, who is recovering from a stroke she sustained just after taking on our matter (I believe that's her in the wheelchair in the last photo).
