23.01.2022 Who would have thought that we would still be in lockdown since March this year. While we are slowly getting our numbers down, it's not enough to meet in person. However we are privileged to be able to catch up via Zoom. You are more than welcome to join us, even if you have never been to Restore physically before. We are always open for new visitors! 20.01.2022 During this time, a lot churches have had to close their doors as their meetings are over 100. The good news for us is that we are able to still hold church at Bayside. Our room offers enough space so that we can be 2 metres apart. It may look a little strange, but it will be great to see each other none the less. There are a few other measures that we will follow to enable us to be as hygienic and safe as possible. These include: Maintain a distance of 1.5 metres between... people Hand hygiene products will be available Refrain from shaking hands or hugging, as well as physically touching people We will not be serving food or beverages until the crisis has passed Our meeting will be no longer than one hour. With that we are starting at 9.30am sharp and finishing at 10.30am. After this, we need to encourage everyone to leave the building and freely chat outside if they would like to. This week, will talk about communion, but will not be handing out emblems. However, next week we will have a delivery of premade communion emblems so that we can continue to share this time together. As a church we will keep updated on the changing government recommendations and keep you informed as the change progress. If you are unwell, please stay home. If you are concerned about not giving into the offering, you may deposit into the account or use the ‘Tithley’ app for your phone. 20.01.2022 Hello dear friends of Restore. As discussed yesterday morning in Church, we are excited to be able to support the ACCI Bushfire Relief Appeal. ACCI Relief has an ongoing tax-deductible Bushfire Relief Appeal to provide relief to individuals and families who have been affected by bushfires. The finances raised through this appeal are being used to provide much needed relief during the initial emergency. This includes: - food distribution to emergency services and affect...ed families; - providing clothing and other emergency supplies; - giving practical support to farmers, including livestock feed; and - supporting chaplains. The funds will also be used to support communities to recover and rebuild in the months following this disaster. We are continuing to work closely with our ACC Churches and Chaplains, so communities affected receive the help they need. Thank you for your generosity toward this cause. 19.01.2022 I really love this video, The Blessing, put out by over 65 churches in the UK. Have a listen and see what you think. .... But the church is not simply singing a blessing, each day we're looking to practically be a blessing. Many of the churches included in this song have assisted with supplying over 400,000 meals to the most vulnerable and isolated in our nation since COVID-19 lockdown began. This alongside phone calls to the isolated, pharmacy delivery drops and hot meals to the NHS frontline hospital staff. Our buildings may be closed but the church is very much alive!

Many assume that after two exhausting days in Jerusalem, Jesus and His disciples spent this day resting in Bethany in anticipation of Passover. However, it is recorded in the books of Matthew, Mark and Luke that the Sanhedrin gathered and plotted to kill Jesus before the feast of Passover. And on the Wednesday before his death, Judas went to t...he Sanhedrin and offered to deliver Jesus to them in exchange for money. From this moment on, Judas sought an opportunity to betray Jesus. In reference to Judas Iscariot's intent to betray Jesus, formed on Holy Wednesday, the day is sometimes called "Spy Wednesday". The word spy, as used in this term, means "ambush or snare". Today we are asked to pray for our ‘Children's Ministry’ - Our prayer is that our children grow up strong in their knowledge and love of Jesus. Scriptures are: Mk. 10:14 - When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to them, Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. - Dt. 4:9 - But watch out! Be ...careful never to forget what you yourself have seen. Do not let these memories escape from your mind as long as you live! And be sure to pass them on to your children and grandchildren. - Deut 30:19 - Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! - Prov. 22:6 - Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it. - 3 Jn. 1:4 - I could have no greater joy than to hear that my children are following the truth. . LAUNCHING TONIGHT - THURSDAY 19th MARCH at 19h00 (7pm) (daily from then on) - the head of the ACC, Wayne Alcorn, has asked us all to pray for the healing of our nation in regards to the Corona Virus. Pray for our nation in response to COVID19. (The 19th and 19h00 is simply an effective reminder and connection). Partner with intercessors all across the nation who will carry a great burden of prayer through this season. Support a National Day of Prayer and Fasting on Sunday 29th March.
