19.01.2022 This is a photo of my father when he was 17 years old. A before and after restoration photo. A simple fix, but have a number of other to show what can be achieved from a serious flawed photo. Watch this space!!!

15.01.2022 Photo restoration isn't the only thing that l do. Photography is also my passion from wildlife to landscapes, macro to Astro photography, and from portrait to free-lance photography, I've had my finger on the trigger over the years in many areas. Here's just a few that l have taken in and around the Grampians of late.

14.01.2022 I find great enjoyment in restoring damaged or aged photographs. It's a feeling of like restoring a piece of history, be it my own or someone else's. I love hearing about people's stories and where they have come from to be in this little community of Dunkeld. A photo can tell you so much. Here's a couple of photos of my nieces and nephews, a before and after restoration.

08.01.2022 This photograph of my father l restored from an old print that was fading. He's with a friend of the family on his motor bike, back in the 40's I'm guessing. I know he loved that bike and would often take it out for a spin with Mum on the back, but eventually traded up for a car, that's life l suppose.

03.01.2022 This Photo is of my Mum and Dad on their honeymoon which l had to restore from a scratched and faded print. Really came out well, especially the detail, and this is what can be produced from a damaged photograph with care and enjoyment for what you do.

What I do is not just about preserving photos, its also about preserving family histories, so that precious photos are being reproduced for families who can fully appreciate keeping their history in-tact for the future, for their families future, so they can see where and when they came from, and the journey they undertook to be where they are today.
