Agents wil...l say something like: I know some hot buyers who have just missed out on another home in your area. Or: I have a database of thousands of buyers. It is enticing to hear these words because it leads vendors to believe that they can achieve a quick sale, without having to spend money on advertising. There are two issues with this so-called database of buyers claim. Firstly, no real estate agent owns any buyer. Buyers they may know are also searching online, just like everybody else.
