01.01.2022 Can you spot the green oxide from the Copper in the rocks? Mining in the Ranges at Arkaroola has been highly sought after for years but has been banned since 2011 and is now banned forever in the region. It’s good to know the government cares enough to keep the region as a world heritage site. We can learn a lot about the history of Australia and even the world in the Flinders Ranges if we take the time to look.
