25.01.2022 We were blessed to have members of the Adelaide Chinese Dance Academy perform for our children today, as part of our celebrations for Chinese New Year (25 Jan). We followed this with a delicious lunch of Honey Soy Chicken and Vegetables with Noodles.

25.01.2022 Thank you to Amanda Rishworth MP, our Management Committee, our staff and especially our families, for coming to celebrate our 30th Birthday and Christmas Party on Friday night. We have had some fantastic feedback from families who attended. Thank you to Emma at Absolutely Cake for making such a great looking cake for our celebrations. Congratulations to our raffle winners. We managed to raise $955.00 towards our fundraising goal. Thank you to all of the families and local businesses who donated goods to place in our hampers.

24.01.2022 PUBLIC HOLIDAY NOTIFICATION. Our Centre will be closed on Friday 10th April and Monday 13th April for the Easter Public Holidays.

24.01.2022 Bunnings Sausage Sizzle CANCELLED. The Bunnings Sausage Sizzle fundraiser we had planned for this Sunday 22nd March has now been cancelled. This decision has been made based on advice we have received today from the Education Standards Board regarding non-essential events. We hope we can reschedule for later in the year when the threat of COVID-19 has passed. Thank you to all of our parents and family members who had offered their time and assistance. We appreciate it.

24.01.2022 Do you know you can recycle plastic bread tags and milk bottle lids? We have set up a recycling station for these items at the centre to assist us all to be a little more sustainable and provide a simple solution to help reduce these plastics from landfill. Once we have gathered a collection, we will arrange for these to be sent to Robe to be transferred into new items. 23.01.2022 Thank you to Brittany and her friend for bringing along 2 Burnese Mountain Dog puppies to visit with the children yesterday. They were so very cute and the puppies were as curious as the children.

22.01.2022 Thank you to our generous families. Today we dropped off a large foam box and 6 bags of first aid supplies and food to the Old Reynella Veterinary Clinic. This will now be sorted for distribution to wildlife carers tending to animals injured in the recent bush fires in the Adelaide Hills and on Kangaroo Island.

19.01.2022 Hand Sanitiser is available for families to use on arriving/departing the centre. This is located to the right of the door as you exit (above the reception desk). Families are also welcome to use our hand washing facilities in the staff bathroom. When we receive additional information, we will forward this onto our families. 19.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts in the past 18 months. We received our order of new resources today. There are new trucks, cars, dolls and doll clothes, animals, puzzles, sand pit toys, dress ups, push and pull toys, musical instruments, dolls house furniture, plates and bowls, craft items and much more. One of our suppliers were having a closing down sale so we were able to purchase items at bargain prices. Here is just a sample of what we purchased for your children to enjoy while in care.

16.01.2022 Thank you to all of the families who helped us collect more than 10,000 Woolworths Earn and Learn stickers last year. Our order arrived today and we are always excited for new resources for the children (even more so when they are free).

15.01.2022 Children's Book Week 22nd - 28th August. Book Swap - available in our front office. Please bring a book you no longer need and swap it for a 'new' book to share with your child. Book Week Dress Up - Wednesday 26th we invite all children and staff to dress up for Book Week.

14.01.2022 Our Easter Hampers have been wrapped and we have 5 prizes to win. Tickets have been supplied to all families, however if you would like extra tickets, please come and see our office staff. 12.01.2022 Wear Red for Valentines Day on Friday 14th Feb and share our love of books for International book Giving Day. We will have a table of books available in our front office. Please feel free to take one to share with your child.

12.01.2022 During the Christmas break, we had the Babies Room painted. Our educators researched the paints colours and decided on green which is said to be calming, refreshing, nurturing green is the best colour to use in a learning environment.

09.01.2022 Friday 5th of June is World Environment Day. Our Kindy Room children will be learning about the importance of plastic recycling and will be helping sort bottle tops and bread tags we have collected in our collection boxes into colours, ready to send off to the recycling plant in Robe. If you have any of these items at home, feel free to bring these in before next Friday.

08.01.2022 On Sunday 22nd March, we will be hosting a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle fundraiser at the new Reynella Bunnings store. Notes were placed in our familiy pockets this week seeking volunteers to assist on the day. Please help out if you can. We would like to give a big thank you to Nick and Kirin, owners of Bakers Delight Edwardstown and parents of our centre, who have agreed to donate the bread required for the day. This is a huge kick start to the fundraiser and we really appreciate their generosity. Nick and Kirin will also be helping out with our Easter Hot Cross Bun drive fundraiser again this year - please support them and our centre if you can. More information about this will be out in coming weeks.

05.01.2022 Easter Bunny is creeping up on us again (only 45 days) and we are planning a fundraising Easter raffle. We will be accepting donations of Easter goods to make hampers and putting the call out to all of our families who may be able to assist. All donations, big or small, will be appreciated.

05.01.2022 Are any members of our families traveling from Reynella to Christies Beach in next day or two? We have boxes and bags of food items which need to get from RCCC to Foodbank at Christies Beach to be distributed as needed. We would appreciate a volunteer or two. Please and Thank you

01.01.2022 Beck and I visited Neporendi Aboriginal Community Centre this morning. A big thank you to Joanne and Elijah for showing us some great bush tucker ideas. Elijah makes Emu Oil which is fantastic for eczema, insect bites, inflammation, aged skin and much more. If you would like some Emu Oil, the Community Centre on Vine Street at Old Reynella sell it for only $15. 01.01.2022 Our Christmas Raffle will be drawn at the centre on Friday 27th November. We now have 19 hampers to win. There is still time to return your tickets or purchase additional tickets (cost can be added to child care account). Thank you to all of the families who have bought/sold tickets or made donation towards our hampers. They look great and all funds made will go back into the centre by buying new resources for the children.
