23.01.2022 National Skin Cancer Action Week - 15 November to 21 November With two in three Australians diagnosed with skin cancer by age 70, the action week is an important reminder to use sun protection and of the importance of early skin cancer detection for all Australians as we make our way into summer. 20.01.2022 It is important to look after our mental health and wellbeing, especially in stressful times. Your doctor is often a good place to start for most mental health issues, as they can make a diagnosis, provide treatment or refer you to other mental health services if needed. Visiting your local GP to discuss a mental health issue can be beneficial if you feel comfortable doing so, especially if you have already formed a trusted relationship with your GP. There are many benefits o...f visiting a GP if you are experiencing a mental health issue as they are able to provide care for both your physical and mental health issues. Some prescribed medications can have a negative effect on your mental health as can some physical health issues and if you have a GP you visit regularly they will be aware of what medications you are taking and your medical history. Attending a GP practice on a regular basis is important in maintaining and protecting your physical and mental health. The more comfortable you are with your GP, the easier it will be to talk with them about your health issues and needs. It will also allow your GP to build a detailed medical history for you. Our Doctors are available 7 days per week from 8.00 am to 6 pm, and after-hours till 8 pm Monday to Thursday. Bookings can be made via our website, the book now button or calling 9364 6633.

13.01.2022 NATIONAL CHILD PROTECTION WEEK 6-12 SEPTEMBER 2020 This year National Child Protection Week will celebrate its 30th year with the theme:... Putting children first Under this year’s theme of ‘Putting children first’ we invite all Australians to look at how they can prioritise children in their lives and communities and to engage in National Child Protection Week as individuals, and as part of families, organisations, communities and society. Putting children first means prioritising the safety and wellbeing of children. To grow up well children need to feel safe and loved, have a chance to play and explore, have a say in decisions that affect them, and access to essential things like food, shelter and healthcare. For children to thrive we need to come together as a community and put children’s needs first during National Child Protection Week and every week. https://www.napcan.org.au/

01.01.2022 We have been serving our local community for over 50 years. Reynolds Road Medical Clinic was built on the current site in 1959 by local GP Dr Vern Teasdale who had graduated 4 years earlier. He was joined by Dr Ted Grigg and then Dr Michael Hill. Together and later with Dr Susan Giffiths, they forged a reputation for affordable quality care and extended 7 day access.... Today, almost 60 years later Reynolds Rd 7 Day Medical Centre proudly strives to continue the legacy of those founding Drs and staff.
