Dear Friends, First of all, thank you for your kindness, generosity and meaningful participation in the Council Election. You have proved your commitments, exercised your rights and supported me in this tough, yet positive journey. I gained valuable experience and strengthened my tie to communities, throughout this democratic process which I wholeheartedly value and respect. Our multicultural community is a true representation of people from different walk of life. Although we came from different backgrounds but we all stand for a common cause which is our values of harmony, togetherness and resilience. Regardless of the outcome of election, I am committed to continue working with you on different capacities as we are all one and fight for the same purpose and uphold the same values. Thank you so much, Kind regards, Reza Andesha

08.01.2022 How can you help regional Victoria recover? Go on a holiday. Today we headed to Whitfield to announce over $460 million to boost tourism and support Victoria's ...regional towns and communities to get back on their feet. It includes infrastructure upgrades, events funding, vouchers and advertisements and it'll make holidaying at home easier and cheaper for families too. Over 120,000 travel vouchers will be available to help cover the cost of accommodation, attractions and tours so Victorians can spend more money in local communities. Almost $300 million will build and upgrade attractions across the state, including the Grampians, High Country, Gippsland, Great Ocean Road, King Valley and more so that every corner has an attraction to be proud of. And over $20 million will be spent bringing big events to small communities too, supporting the existing festivals and events that've been hardest hit by this pandemic. It isn't just festivals and infrastructure either we're helping local Aboriginal groups share their stories and history too, with funding to help attract tourists to cultural sites and events. This is the biggest regional tourism package we've ever funded, but it'll be worth every bit. Because each dollar spent is a dollar in the pockets of regional small businesses, suppliers, pubs, cafes, hotels and restaurants. And a big boost for local economies too. From drought to bushfires and a global pandemic these communities have done it tougher than ever before. But if we want our state to recover, we need our regions to recover stronger than ever. So please, get your friends together, give the family a ring and go see the best that Victoria has to offer.
