25.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE Hi everyone we have a minor set back sadly with the relaunch of the Churchill Island Farmers Market. This is a very difficult and challenging time for everyone. We will be posting details on the final two weeks of our new Market Schedule this weekend. 19.01.2022 Our New Market Schedule!! Please see below our new Farmers Market Schedule! Unfortunately due to the extension of Stage 4, the only Market that will proceed in September is the Inverloch Farmers Market - which is now held on the 3rd Saturday of each month. We will keep you updated on when other Markets will recommence- we are hoping for early October! ... As previously posted, although farmers markets are technically allowed, we do still require permission from our respective site partners (Councils and similar authorities) to be able to operate each market. If permission is not granted soon we will explore alternative sites - but we hope that wont be necessary. We will keep you updated here on all developments - and if you are based in Gippsland we would LOVE to see you at Inverloch next Saturday. Strong measures to reduce any risk associated with COVID-19 will be in place. Thank you everyone so much for your continued support and patience!

18.01.2022 Hi everyone We have had lots of requests for us to release our new Market Schedule - we are just finalising some details with our respective site partners so we hope to be able to update you on which Markets will be running on each Saturday/Sunday of the month by the end of this week. As previously posted we can confirm that the FIRST weekend of each month will now be:... 1st Saturday - Churchill Island Farmers Market 1st Sunday - Altona Meadows Farmers Market Stay tuned...

16.01.2022 Hi everyone! Happy Spring! We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and well - what a year 2020 is proving to be!! This is a short update on the status of our Markets. Although Markets are technically permitted by the State Govt, unfortunately our metropolitan site partners are currently not allowing markets to resume trade during Stage 4 restrictions. In addition, the Phillip Island Nature Park (although not included in Stage 4) is also not allowing the Churc...hill Island Farmers Markets to resume yet. This means that the only Market we are certain about is Inverloch Farmers Market which will run as planned on Saturday 19th September - with strong COVID safety measures in place Please note that Inverloch Farmers Market is now on the 3rd SATURDAY (not the 3rd Sunday) of each Month. We are hopeful that Essendon, Bayside and Williamstown 2 may also run in September - but this depend on the status of Stage 4 and the view of the relevant authorities closer to that time. We will post on our various Facebook pages to keep you all informed. Thank you so much for your patience and support during this period - we cant wait to be back and are looking forward to Inverloch Farmers Market on the 19th of September and hopefully to our other Markets resuming soon after Take care and best wishes, Claire & Melissa

16.01.2022 MARKET UPDATE Thank you everyone for your support and patience over the past couple of months - its been a massive time for us and we are sure it has been for you! We are VERY excited to announce that our Farmers Markets are on track to resume in July We have been waiting on the green light from some of our key site partners to be able to return ... We have been hit hard by COVID-19 as many other businesses and people have been as well. We have sadly had to let go of some amazing people in our team, which means our ability to run as many Markets as we did before is reduced. As a result, we have dramatically reviewed and re-worked our Market Schedule - so the outcome is that although our Markets WILL return in July, it will be very different to what has been in the past. Our new Schedule consists of EIGHT markets a month - ONE market on each Saturday and ONE market on each Sunday. This of course means we have had to put quite a few of our markets on hold for the time being. As we rebuild we will review - but for the time being we are (very sadly !) NOT continuing with Daylesford, Bundoora, Heathmont, Croydon, Meeniyan, Wheelers Hill or Newtown on their current program. We hope to bring them back on new dates in the future. We have therefore changed our Market Schedule quite a bit - some of these changes are still being finalised so we will post updates soon, but we are excited to announce here that our new Schedule for the FIRST weekend of each month (starting in July) is: 1st Saturday - Churchill Island Farmers Market (starting 4th July) 1st Sunday - Altona Meadows Farmers Market (starting 5th July) We opening each market to new stalls as a result of the changes to our Schedule so there may be a new mix of stalls at each market as well- so please stay tuned for updates on that too! Each Market will also have strong measures in place re reducing the risks associated with COVID-19. Please visit each Market page for more updates over the next few days, and we will keep in touch on developments as they unfold! Thank you again for your support over this time and we cant wait to see you at one of our eight Markets very soon!! Take care! Claire & Melissa Regional Farmers Markets

08.01.2022 Market Update Hi everyone! Well, things are taking much more time than expected to get back on track. This is just a short update to let you know what’s happening... 04.01.2022 Hi everyone Please read this message carefully! We want our Markets to continue to operate so you can access fresh food and produce - but ONLY if our Markets can be managed in a safe way for our community. ... It takes EVERYONE to make this happen, so please read and follow the rules! 1. To reduce congestion please only have one member of each household at our Market. Sadly the Market is no longer a socialising event, we are here to provide you with essential food items. We urge you to also leave your dogs and kids at home. Please visit, purchase and then go home. 2. Listen to any instructions given on the day by our Market Manager. They are there to create the best possible market for everyone. 3. No abuse of any kind to any Market Manager will be tolerated! 4. Practice social distancing (1.5m+), so that means no hugging or handshaking or crowding - keep your space and be proactive with this! 5. Look after the elderly and those in need - they may need assistance in accessing stalls and produce so please help whenever you can (in a safe manner!) 6. Wash your hands before coming to the Market, bring your own hand sanitiser and clean your hands as much as possible between each Stall. 7. Form a single file at a Stall respecting the social distance requirement of 1.5m and wait in line to be served, one at a time. 8. Only touch what you will buy! 9. Please do not cough or sneeze on any of the products or produce. 10. If the Stall is too busy, please move on and return later to ensure good flow. Please do not loiter or chat with stallholders. 11. There are no tasters or samples, no refills of cups, no keep cups and no tables or chairs for sitting - we want you to come, shop and then get home as quickly and safely as possible. 12. We are transitioning our Market away from cash as much as possible, so please use your card where ever you can. Finally and most importantly - if you have any of the COVID-19 symptoms or feel unwell, or if you have been in contact with anyone who is unwell in any way, please stay home, self-isolate and contact your primary health caregiver!! DO NOT COME TO MARKET!! Phew! Thats it for now - thank you for your support!

04.01.2022 Dear RFM Community, We are extremely concerned about reducing the spread of COVID-19 and are taking this very seriously. This is obviously a highly uncertain and stressful time for everyone - especially as information and advice is evolving very quickly. ... At this moment, ALL Markets run by Regional Farmers Markets will proceed as usual The current advice is that it is the collective responsibility of everyone to ensure we are acting with a sense of urgency and responsibility to both ourselves and those around us in an effort to minimise the transmission and impact of the virus. The current recommendation (although we appreciate this advice can change) is that only people who had direct contact with an infected person (within 1.5 meters of the person for longer than 15 minutes or in the same room for two hours) need to self-isolate and contact their GP, while everyone else is advised to just continue regular (if not enhanced) hygiene precautions. Obviously If you are unwell (and especially if you are showing any symptoms associated with COVID-19) please seek medical attention and otherwise stay home to look after yourself and DO NOT ATTEND THE MARKET! We will be spreading out the layout of stalls at our Markets as much as we can within each site to help create more space for people to move around. So you may notice some layout changes! Please try not to pack in too tightly when buying and to form a queue with space wherever possible. We will offer some tables and chairs for patrons to use for seating, but these will be disinfected frequently by our management staff and will also be spaced out more than usual. We will continue to post any key updates here as they are considered necessary. Thank you for reading this, and please feel welcome to message us if you have any concerns or questions RFM Management

03.01.2022 IMPORTANT SCHEDULE UPDATE We are VERY excited to announce that the Inverloch Farmers Market, the North Essendon Farmers Market and the Bayside Farmers Market are all CONFIRMED for OCTOBER! We are especially excited to have North Essendon and Bayside up and running this month - so please follow those two pages for updates!... We do however also have an Important Schedule Change to make - sadly the Williamstown Market at John Morely Reserve will NOT be resuming. Council has resolved not to grant permission for Markets at this site any longer which is very sad. The Market at Robertsons Reserve is fine - it's just the John Morely site (on the fourth Sunday) which will not continue. This created space in our Schedule, so the good news is that we can now resume the Heathmont Farmers Market!! So the Heathmont Farmers Market will resume on the FOURTH Sunday of each month (new date) - starting in November. So we are sad to say good bye to Willy at John Morely - but happy to be able to relaunch Heathmont. We will post further updates shortly - just wanted to update everyone on the changes. We are very excited to be getting close to full Schedule - and can't wait for Inverloch on the 17th and North Essendon on the 18th of October! Take care xx Claire & Melissa

02.01.2022 As you may be aware our Beaumaris Farmers Market for March needed to due to the North Beaumaris Primary School Fete. !! We have finally managed to secure a site to hold our regular market just 4 minutes down the road at the: ... THE BEAUMARIS PRIMARY SCHOOL This is very much a one-off! Please dont panic our Beaumaris Farmers Market will still be running at its normal time from 8am-1pm and all your amazing regular stallholders will be there!! So please and come down to and THE IMPORTANT DETAILS Where: The Beaumaris Primary School, 79 99 Dalgetty Road, Beaumaris. When: Saturday - 14th March Time: 8am-1pm

02.01.2022 The Churchill Island Farmers Market is currently going ahead this Saturday. However with the closure of the Phillip Island Nature Park, the Market is being held at a NEW LOCATION - St Philips Anglican Church, from 8am to 1pm. We are all living in very uncertain times - we are doing our best to balance the need for safety for all associated with the market and the value of accessing fresh produce and food items. We are taking strong measures to ensure safety for all, but we a...lso need everyone who attends the Market to do their bit and to maintain the requisite social distances and personal hygiene standards. Things are changing rapidly, so please keep checking this page for updates. Take care and stay safe everyone

01.01.2022 Dear RFM Community It is with a heavy heart that we advise that, effective immediately, Regional Farmers Markets will not run any further Markets until the worst of the threat posed by COVID-19 to our community has passed. This decision applies to all of our Markets - so it covers all of our Markets in Victoria as well as our weekly Market in Helensvale on the Gold Coast.... We know many stall holders rely on our Markets for their businesses - and this is why this decision has been so difficult to make. We have fought very hard to keep our Markets open for as long as we can - including finding new sites in Victoria when the usual sites were closed down - as we knew many of our stall holders needed the time before this decision was made. It has been an incredibly stressful and difficult period for everyone including our stall holder community. Officially, food markets remain permissible so long as specific ratios for social distancing measures are in place. These measures were all very much in place at our Markets yesterday - as well as many additional measures to create as much safety as we could. The key has been to continually balance the need to create ways for people to access fresh produce and other food, and the risk to the community from COVID-19. Our priority must however always be safety - for our Market Managers who interact with many people, for each of our stall holders and for you the patrons of our Markets - and so after completing yesterdays Markets the decision was made to close all Markets until the worst of this crisis has passed. So what next? We do not know how long this period of hibernation' (to quote our Prime Minister) will be, as we do not know the path the virus will take. We are exploring various online options at the moment, including home delivery via our related business, Paddlewheel which is a farmers market store. We have invited all stall holders in Victoria who need help during this time to contact Paddlewheel. Paddlewheel is already doing extensive home delivery throughout Melbourne and parts of South Gippsland and we are seeking to expand its service area as quickly as we can. For more details please message us and we can connect you to Paddlewheel, or you can call them direct on (03) 9827 6769 or 0428 114 648. We will also continue to post regular updates here - so please look out for these. It is a very difficult and stressful time for everyone. We hope you and your loved ones are safe and well Take care! Claire, Melissa and and the whole team at RFM
