23.01.2022 I am proud to have the support of my local Federal MP, Josh Burns. Thanks, Josh.

21.01.2022 Only 2 days left to vote! Make sure you drop your sealed and signed ballot pack in to your closest mailbox or post office before 6PM Friday 23rd October. Here is my how-to-vote, please get in contact if you want to have a chat.

18.01.2022 A bit about me and why I want to represent you in Glen Eira!

18.01.2022 Today is World Mental Health Day and the beginning of Mental Health Week. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a real impact on individuals and communities. Loneliness and separation from loved ones, friends and families has had a real impact mental health here in Glen Eira. Mental health week is about raising awareness, reducing stigma, and being kind to each other.... At the beginning of this pandemic other Councils redeployed library staff to connect with the community and elder residents. The staff were able to reach out and offer services, counselling and technology assistance to help connect our community. We need this type of kindness in our Council - people who will look after our community and extend a helping hand to those in need. As a Councillor, I will always show empathy and kindness to our residents.

17.01.2022 I am a proud resident of Glen Eira Glen Eira has been my home for the last 25 years. I went to school here, I studied in our local libraries, I spent summers at GESAC, and I have volunteered with local youth movements and community organisations. We need strong, local voices with vision to guide our Council through this pandemic and to build a better Glen Eira.... Caulfield Junior College

13.01.2022 It's about time we change the demographic of our local councils and encourage young people to run and make a difference in their community

12.01.2022 A friendly reminder to fill in your #GlenEira Council ballots and place them in the post box before Friday 23rd October. Whilst this year may not bring any democracy sausage, we can all imagine the hustle and bustle of the local primary school, where I hand you the How To Vote card. We have a brief conversation, either about the weather or my platform. Now well informed, you go in and vote [1] for Ricci. Thank you for your support. Let me know if you want to have a convers...ation before voting. You can also download my How to Vote Card here - https://tinyurl.com/y6rlr599 Note - number ALL boxes for your vote to count.

07.01.2022 I spent my Sunday walking through Caulfield Racecourse Reserve. It's an amazing open green space - and one of the largest in Southern Metropolitan Melbourne. Today the park was open for community use, however the site is not always accessible and is currently not available for our sports clubs. The middle of the racecourse could facilitate our growing demand for sporting grounds and increase our access to open green spaces in Glen Eira. The Racecourse would be a great place for our kids to play and be active. As a Councillor, I would advocate for greater access to Racecourse and more open green space in Glen Eira!

07.01.2022 Walking around our neighbourhoods in the last few months, it's been shocking to walk down Glen Huntly Road and see so many shops closed and 'For Lease' signs scattered across the street. Our community needs to support our local businesses. If elected, I will make sure Council stands with and supports our local businesses. As a Councillor, I will fight to support our businesses and families. My plans are to:... assist businesses by providing the infrastructure they need to re-open safely and provide free training to business owners on how to live and work in a COVID world make sure businesses have access to outdoor areas to operate safely and effectively revitalise our shopping strips with pop-up art installations and exhibitions Let's elect a proactive Council which will support our local businesses and families to revitalise our neighbourhoods and streets.

06.01.2022 Council needs to collaborate with state and federal governments to get the best outcomes for our community. I am proud to have the support of Josh Burns MP, if elected I am looking forward to working with him to deliver the additional infrastructure, local spaces and quality services our community deserves.

06.01.2022 Over the years, Glen Eira has contributed less and less to support our struggling pensioners. Whilst, the State Government increases its contribution to the pensioners concession each year, Glen Eira has reduced their contribution year after year. We need a Council that will support our ageing population and provide them with the support they need. This is just one way I plan on supporting our elderly residents. Council also provide our elderly residents with a number of se...rvices, from Council-run aged care to home care assistance. With the right amount of care, these services allow people to maintain their independence and dignity. I have continued to advocate for Council-run high quality services and as such, I will stand against any privatisation of aged care services. I will also fight to ensure these services are well funded and provide high level of care to our residents. Let's elect representatives which will support those in need.

06.01.2022 Last night I was thrilled to launch my campaign for Camden Ward. It was great to have the support of a number of local up-and-coming artists who performed live. The Creative Industries are integral to our community, culture and local economy. We need to do more to support local artists. If elected I will fight for: Community space for our local artists to play, practice and perform Professional support to navigate the world of grant writing and success in business ... Council as the center-point for collaborating between Artists and community groups Financial support and grants Thank you to Jacob Emerson Sacher Ra Ph Debbie Sherr Singing Lessons Kinkora for performing! And thank you Josh Burns and Mary Delahunty for hosting!

05.01.2022 It was great to see Glen Eira Council show it’s serious about protecting our environment by declaring a climate emergency last year. And now is the time for action! As a Councillor I will fight to protect our environment. I will: Provide residents with the ability to access the Energy Upgrade Agreement which offers residents and business owners the ability to upgrade their sustainability and energy efficiency systems Advocate for a more ambitious urban forestry target ... Prioritise Environmentally Sustainable Designs with proposed new developments 0 Ensure Council actively works to achieve its target of net-zero emissions by 2030 The Energy Upgrade Agreement removes barriers to residents and business owners who want to reduce their energy bills and improve the sustainability of their buildings and homes. Whilst many other neighbouring Councils have adopted the scheme Glen Eira continues to lag behind. Glen Eira just isn't doing enough when it comes to improving the numbers of trees in our neighbourhoods. The Urban Forestry Strategy proposes a 1.5% increase of tree coverage by 2040. This doesn't even cover the trees lost in the last few years. As a Council, we can and must do more to protect our environment and to reach our commitment to net-zero emissions and carbon neutrality.

03.01.2022 Investment in Early Education is not just a social investment but also makes economic sense. Research shows that every dollar invested in early education, Australia receives two dollars back over the course of the child's life. Glen Eira Council operate a number of Family Day Care services and Early Learning Centres. This pandemic has highlighted the importance of early education and the impact it has on families. As a Councillor, I will advocate for affordable and high quality early learning services. Investment in Early Education services will make it easier for parents to return to work - lets work to make this an affordable, high quality service.

03.01.2022 Young people are bearing the brunt of this pandemic. Many of us are putting our lives and careers on hold to protect our loved ones. And we will inherit the damage to our economy and our society. There's no reason we shouldn't be running for office now, to help rebuild our community for the future we will inherit. I'm proud to be a young, progressive person running for Council. And I'm proud to be preferencing other people who share our values. Our community needs vision and passion for a better future for locals of all ages - not lame personal attacks.

01.01.2022 Snippets of what I had to say at the Camden Ward Community Forum. Learn more about myself, how I'll ensure sustainable and appropriate development and protect our local businesses. Thank you Save Glen Eira Glen Eira Residents Association for hosting the event. A big thank-you for the residents who attended and asked such great questions.
