For the month of March, our friends at Dynamic Stability Physiotherapy & Pilates are offering half-price screening tests at their studio in Swan Street. The screening test is suitable for players of all ages, and is a good way to identify any niggling injuries or create an injury prevention plan for the season ahead. A short message to confirm that the YJFL have recently announced that there will be no formal season in 2020 and that a decision on this seasons registration payments will be made within the next 7 days.... 11.01.2022 We are shocked to hear of the sudden passing of Tim Frampton, Team manager of our Youth Girls Teams of 2018 and 2019, and father to our Under 9 Girls Coach, Allanah. Tim was an enthusiastic parent volunteer and a true champion of the Youth Girls. He took on Team Manager and other lead roles and was a great servant to our club, a pioneer in women’s sport and an asset to sports administration He regularly stepped into roles at the last minute to ensure the girls' games always w...ent ahead smoothly and was always generous of time, energy and kindness. He will be sadly missed by all at RJFC and we pass on our sincere condolences to Allanah and her family.

09.01.2022 Dear Parents and Players, Firstly, let me say that the committee at RJFC hope that you and your loved ones are all safe and healthy at this present time. The YJFL yesterday released a statement advising that they will fall in line with the AFL directive and no team football related activities will start until the 31st of May at the earliest. A decision on this will come at a later date, dependent on what transpires over the coming weeks and months.... We understand that sport and football is a very important part of our childrens lives and that we will all miss it very much. Our hope is that we can get the season started at some point in time, but under the present circumstances we just need to look after each other and ensure ourselves, parents, grandparents, family and friends are safe, healthy and happy. Please look out for any signs of restlessness or anxiety and ensure we get really engaged with our kids over the coming weeks and months whilst in this unusual situation. Regards, Andrew OHalloran

03.01.2022 Season paused again... To all Parents and Players, Please be advised that the YJFL in accordance with Government restrictions has once again put the season on hold whilst we go into our six week lockdown period. This means there will be no games this weekend and after today, no more club training sessions until further notice.... After the weekends intra club matches and all the excitement they generated for both the players and the parents it is sad that the season will not start this weekend, however we must put the health and wellbeing of our community first. I would like to thank the RJFC Committee for the amount of work they completed over the last three weeks to get training up and running and to be ready for the start of the season. Please remember to keep both yourself and your family in a safe, happy and positive environment over the coming weeks and lets keep our fingers crossed that we can get a short 6-8 week season starting in September.
