18.01.2022 NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be conducting a baiting program in many national parks using fresh meat, manufactured baits and CPE’s containing 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of wild dogs. The program will be ongoing and continuous from Tuesday 5 May 2020 to Thursday 5 November 2020. We have been advised of two dogs in the Wheelbarrow Ridge Rd, Colo Heights area who have very sadly died from these baits. Please be aware of the danger and keep your dogs away from national parks.
