22.01.2022 Last operation for 2020 (hopefully for good ) Eye surgery today so two perfect eyes now Will be taking tomorrow off but should be back Friday For someone who hadn’t seen the inside of a hospital I have had my fair share in the past two years Look out 2021.... nothing will stop me

19.01.2022 Going to give these a workout tomorrow . Have physio in the arvo but hoping to complete half a day. Will walk in in the morning and fire the Boys up. They have had a seven week holiday so time to do some work to pay the bills!!

17.01.2022 Discharged from hospital last night, couldn’t stand mashed potatoes, mashed pumpkin and stew another day Happy to be back to work this morning, so bring it on. First stop, newsagents to get the weekly Lotto . Fingers crossed

The face says it all The Physio was impressed with Richos progress at four week mark. Most people unable to bike at this stage. Starting full physio sessions next week so that will be fun. Maybe returning to work in two weeks...maybe

10.01.2022 Just giving everyone the heads up that VHS will be closed from 27th Sept. Not sure of reopening date at this stage As you know, I like a good piece of engineering so I have gone for a couple of precious titanium joints. Only the best will do Now I don’t do things by halves so have opted for a Bilateral Knee Replacement with the view of getting back to work quicker hopefully,with half the downtime compared to having them done separately. So back to the Hotel with the wonderful views and meals to die for ....well we will see and compare,as going private this time So.... if you have any smaller jobs, get in quick as I expect to be away approx a month, but will play that by ear.

08.01.2022 The joys of working for yourself Entertained myself today by working on my Sprintcar pumps. These are Barnes Dry Sump Oil Pumps They where stripped, cleaned, inspected and reassembled. You will see they are both different... One has a remote oil filter and one has a built in oil filter in the pump. Every little bit is one step closer to racing. Trouble is this bloody virus is going to put things back a bit. I doubt the tracks will be open for racing this year See more

06.01.2022 I haven’t been on Facebook for a while as I’ve had alot of work in of late so it’s been head down bum up, even working public holidays to get the list done Just finished a set of Dash 12 Brodix Sprintcar Heads for a new customer. Re machined and serviced. He walked away very happy so it makes all the time and effort worth while.

05.01.2022 Unfortunately Richo has come to the end of his run. He is unable to continue to work due to the amount of pain he is experiencing. The decision has been made to close this Friday 18th Sept. With an opening date unknown at this stage, apologies for inconvenience. We will keep you updated as time progresses.

04.01.2022 Well seven weeks next monday since he had his op, Richo will be back at work Will ease back into it and may be just 3-4 hours per day to start with. Will be nice to have back some sort of normality

04.01.2022 Three weeks post op and Richo is moving really well, walking the patio with ease and starting to climb the walls. Still a few weeks until back to work but progress is good and the drugs are even better Thanks to everyone that have rung or txtd he has appreciated your calls
