24.01.2022 Feels good to be back in the studio celebrating Spring! First time visit to @gatherflowerfarm too! Eliza and Mel share my eco friendly values by not using pesticides on their plants, and I’m proud to support local farmers who are also mums with young kids too! I picked up some buckets full of seasonal, textural flowers and foliage, can’t wait to put some bouquets together

22.01.2022 Love this shot! Steph and Johns choice of mixed natives perfectly suited their bridal party attire by the incredibly talented @beherebenow_photosfilms... www.thegracefulbloom.com.au

21.01.2022 Through joining @less_stuff_more_meaning, an eco-conscious wedding vendor community- I was lucky enough to be part of a photoshoot to show that your wedding can be just as beautiful, just as special but with less harm on the earth that these kinds of events inevitably have. We want to help create awareness around how the wedding industry can be harmful to the environment and how that impact can be easily reduced. If couples know what the options are, they can pick and choose ...what they want to do and where they can make a difference. It’s up to all of us to create this awareness so that couples don’t need to go out of their way anymore to create a more sustainable wedding day, but it becomes the new normal. This first set of images I want to present you from the shoot shows a micro wedding reception set up, using foraged peppercorn as a hanging installation and curated vase arrangements down the length of the table. The last image is the view out of window at the end of the hall, I almost mistook it as a painting when I walked in! The other Melbourne-based creatives that I collaborated with for this sustainable styled wedding: @katiereevecelebrant Katie a life celebrant who delights in everyday real-life stories, with a passion for the beauty of nature providing the scenery which allows the couple to truly hold the focus. @kylieknightphotography Kylie is a photographer with a candid and fun style who loves photographing eco-friendly weddings and tries to help couples by suggesting options that create less impact on the environment. @lmt_bridal Jennifer owns this platform for brides looking for pre-loved and sample dresses [which was set up almost 12 years ago] and is also a bridal designer who loves to use fabrics from pre-loved dresses for new custom creations. @mimosa_glen Sue runs the beautiful and mindful Mimosa Glen Homestead Cottage and Woolshed originating in the early 1880s in the Macedon Ranges. @makeup.by.inez Inez is a cruelty-free hair & makeup artist She is passionate about making her clients feel beautiful and at their very best and all the products in her kit are carefully considered, and tested. @ Mimosa Glen Homestead Cottage Woolshed
