24.01.2022 2016 GSXR750 We carried out a fork service on this machine, changing the fork fluid to 7.5w to give slightly better damping properties. On the rear, we revalved the rear shock to remove the harsh feeling on high speed bumps these late model GSXR's commonly have. Another common issue is these shocks cavitate on rebound, giving a distinct wollow feeling to the back end. A simple revalve goes a long way correct this issue as well.

23.01.2022 06 GSXR 1000 Ohlins rear shock unit in for a service and spring change, whilst the forks fitted with ohlins 25mm carts received new seals and fluid too. We also supplied a new chain and sprocket kit as well.

22.01.2022 2015 Kawasaki ER6N had come in for a fork seal service. Unfortunately upon dissassembly we found the fork bushings worn out completely! Fortunately we keep a large stock of K-Tech seals and bushings at all times and so we were able to rebuild the forks with new seals and bushings to keep the owner moving in a timely fashion.

21.01.2022 Ducati multistrada 1100s in for a rear shock rebuild to its ohlins unit.

20.01.2022 Early Yamaha Triple Cafe Racer. We supplied and modified a 2015 GSXR 1000 rear shock unit to bring the rear suspension performance to be more inline with the R6 front end already installed.

20.01.2022 2019 KTM 300 EXC receiving some fantastic upgrades! These bikes leave a lot to be desired in the suspension department, fortunately K-Tech Suspension has a brilliant kit that gives proper damping and control to these bikes! The ORVS kit comprises of replacement pistons for both rebound and compression, new adjustment needles, bottoming cone and also clickers for the fork caps. Along with this kit we installed new fork springs to suit. Some comments are in the pics as well. For the rear we reshimmed the OEM shock and resprung to suit.

We will have some big names on ASBK Superbike machinery with Oli Bayliss #68 and @mike jones on the DesmoSport Ducati machines and Aiden Wagner #28 on the yamaha joining us this weekend!! We are only small fry compared to these guys but we have given our best to give Corey a proper crack at hanging ...with these guys. 12.01.2022 Been a very busy time in the shop these past couple weeks!! So not much time to snap some pics of what we have been up to and share with you all. However, these K-Tech Suspension 20DDS pressurised fork cartridges are too nice not to share before being hidden away from the world in some BMW S1000RR forks! The braking stability of these units are second to none! For a system that can handle massive loads and inputs, the bump compliance is incredibly good!... A big 20mm solid piston moves large amounts of oil though the pistons giving exceptional damping performance. Meanwhile the oil is kept under pressure to eliminate cavitation via a floating piston backed by a pressure spring keeping the performance highly consistant. This same system is employed by many top shelf national race teams and also in the WSS & WSBK paddocks!

11.01.2022 Being a california superbike school coach, this video resonates with me quite a lot! Biggest factors is the lock, so the arms can relax and allow the bike to do its thing more efficiently. This gives two big benefits, less rider fatigue, and a motorcycle that handles better, which inturn improves your lap times for longer (and better tyre life too!).

11.01.2022 Bandit 1250 shock unit swapped out for a much better performing #YSS unit! Offering rebound and preload adjust. 46mm piston and a 16mm shaft, all billet machined, ensuring a great performance upgrade for very respectable prices!

11.01.2022 Benelli TNT 1050 Cafe Racer. This cool and different machine came in for a fork seal service and a basic shock service. Whilst here it also received a full brake fluid flush front and back, along with new front performance sintered back pads. This machine now handles and stops like new once more.

06.01.2022 2013 MV Agusta F3 (droool!) Gained some sweet componets to improve upon the super sweet chassis. K-Tech Suspension 35DDS lite rear shock unit fitted out back for superb feel and traction, whilst #Andreani misano EVO fork cartridges up front give a much needed upgrade to the front end at a good price point!

05.01.2022 Kawasaki KFX400 Quad shocks rebuilt this week. New genuine ohlins replacement parts were used including, updated seal head assemblies, bump rubbers, o-rings and bands used throughout.

05.01.2022 08 KTM 450 Forks Full rebuild consisting of K-Tech Suspension seals and bushings and also FUCHS Silkolene Australasia 02 Synthetic fork fluid. Whilst apart the owner opted to have the forks changed from black to this striking light gold color.

04.01.2022 And we are back! We are back on deck and right back into the swing of things. This 2016 ZX10R received some K-Tech Suspension 25RDS fork cartridge kit goodness! ... 25mm pistons and 14mm shafts gives massive damping control. All billet aluminium construction with hard annodised internals, perfectly machined to super tight tolerances ensure the best possible performance. With 30 clicks of adjustment for rebound and 24 clicks on compression, along with 18mm of preload adjustment means you can dial these forks in to suit your exact needs.

So we are sharing this in a hope to raise awareness and help elliot acheive his goals.

03.01.2022 Absolute pleasure to have Corey Turner on our bike this year. He is doing us & himself proud!! Solid weekend of 2nd places behind Aiden Wagner #28 and the factory yamaha team. Watching these two guys peel into turn one is awesome!! We are only a little shop on a very small league budget with an older machine, but carefully thought out set up means corey is able to display his riding capabilities, setting some super fast lap times, whilst remaining in control of the bike and ...keeping it shiney side up! We would just like to give a massive thank you to corey for being a great ambassador for our business! We have a few more set up ideas to try for round 4 in a months time, so really looking forward to that as well! Big congrats to the factory yamaha crew this weekend too, flawless display! 03.01.2022 Super cool XD Diavel in for some tasty upgrades this week. #Nitron #R2 rear shock unit was chosen and installed in the rear, whilst #wilbers progressive springs up front with new fork fluid gives the bike a great balanced ride. Whilst here the customer had us install his new ducati performance wheels, handlebars and fuel cap. Lastly we supplied and installed the #Pirelli Rosso III tyres.

02.01.2022 Very tasty custom YSS RG462 piggy back shocks have been custom built for a special application on a mid 70s GT750 suzuki! The black and chrome look is a nice touch to keep in theme with the era of the bike, whilst at the same time taking the handling capabilities to a much higher level.

01.01.2022 S1000RR in for a tear down and assessment of the suspension components. We did some revalving to the forks and shock, changed the fork spring rates then set the bikes geometry up for better response and corner exits.

01.01.2022 Ducati Diavel. We revalved and resprung the rear shock unit. Whilst up front we installed #wilbers progressive fork springs and carried out a fork oil change. Giving a nice budget conscious upgrade and ensuring the bike suited the riders needs.
