24.01.2022 With increased restrictions in regional NSW by public health officials yesterday The Jack Murphy Memorial Dinner Dance and Irish Music Session will NOT go ahead as planned next Saturday. NSW health will advise individual venues of their restrictions on Monday and I will share an update with you all then - re. options, dates, plans etc. thanks for your understanding We will reassess the situation and plan a new date and keep everyone updated. 22.01.2022 Good Afternoon Folks It is with deep regret that we have had to cancel The Jack Murphy Memorial Dinner Dance for 2020. Due to the unprecedented situation surrounding The Corona Virus our Venue, The Nex, are no longer able to hold functions till 2021. The event will NOT proceed this year on October 3rd as planned. To say myself, Robert and Aimee are devastated is an understatement. All donations made this year towards fundraising for the HMRI and any tickets already paid f...or, will be carried over to next years event. A NEW DATE HAS BEEN SET - JULY 3rd 2021 We will also be celebrating Jacks 18th Birthday We thank you for your continued support and hope you are all staying safe. 20.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTICE. . Good Afternoon Everyone Im sure you are all aware of the unprecedented situation surrounding Covid 19. ... In light of this we have had to change the date of Jacks Memorial Dinner Dance & Scooter Competition. The new government laws that have been introduced of recent will mean that any public event up to 31st August 2020 will need to be capped at a max of 90 guests +10 staff (100 combined) Events held after the 31st August have no current restrictions in place . On that note we have moved the date of the Dinner Dance to 3rd October 2020. Scooter Comp date TBA. If any government rules change in the meantime we will deal with them as they approach. If you any any concerns please dont hesitate to contact me.

Id also like to share the final amount raised for The Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. $205,370.61 This year Funds raised will be kept closer to home and go to The HUNTER MEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE based beside the John Hunter Hospital. The funds will be used for help into research for SCD. I am hoping we can count on your support again this year. XX
