Bar & Canteen running all day, raffle draws through out the day - you have to be there when your name is drawn to claim your prize. Our Nursing Wing residents are thoroughly enjoying sitting in new comfort and style. Ridgehaven is tremendously grateful to these organisations and many other groups and individuals who support us so generously. Thank you all!

19.01.2022 To ensure the well-being of our residents and staff, Ridgehaven is closely following Federal Government directions. Entry to Ridgehaven is restricted to family and authorised persons only. All visitors must first ring, sign in at the main entrances and wash hands at the designated areas. On leaving the facility visitors are to sign out and again wash hands. Any visitors feeling unwell must NOT enter the facility. If in doubt please talk to our staff first. We encourage families and friends to stay in touch with loved ones using other methods such as telephone, email, Skype and letters etc.

18.01.2022 Today is Aged Care Employee Day! Ridgehaven is very fortunate to have such dedicated and caring staff. All staff, kitchen, cleaning, laundry, admin, maintenance, gardening and clinical, are doing an amazing job. Thanks to their diligence and commitment our residents have been kept safe. We are extremely proud of all our staff for their professional and compassionate care of all our residents. We have always known how wonderful our staff are, but it's very satisfying to have that confirmed by the team of government assessors. Thank you everyone.

04.01.2022 It has now been a month since we switched over to solar power. This was a huge undertaking that involved the installation of 312 panels, a new switchboard and several inverters. The team at Chalmers ESR did an amazing job. Thanks guys for your efforts! Plus a huge thank you to Doug & Desley Kuhn and their daughter Diana for making the grant happen. The grant also enabled the much needed upgrade of 12 bathrooms and the replacement of our oven. Obviously without that funding we could never afford these upgrades. Solar power will hopefully reduce our gigantic electricity bill enabling us to spend the savings on other vital needs for Ridgehaven.
