25.01.2022 Frankston Golf Club and Robinsons Park will tee off with the right water for the job thanks to a $500,000 recycled water project announced today by the Minister for Water Peter Walsh. The Robinsons Road Recycled Water project will provide class A recycled water to irrigate Frankston Golf Club and Robinsons Park, potentially saving up to 76 megalitres of drinking water each year. Recycled water will improve playing surfaces and drought-proof water supply to keep both sites right water green. This project will be jointly funded by the State Government, Frankston City Council and Frankston Golf Club.

17.01.2022 East Gippsland Water are using the right water for keeping Bairnsdale Racecourse green, ensuring ideal conditions for race meetings throughout the year. Replacing tap water with recycled water from the Bairnsdale Wastewater Treatment Plant wherever possible has dramatically reduced the racecourse's use of drinking water. The course consumes around 33 megalitres of water a year (roughly equivalent to 33 Olympic size swimming pools). http://bit.ly/1wAASAp



17.01.2022 While most of us know the Melbourne Cricket Ground as the home of AFL football, what you may not know is it's also home to Victoria's largest underground water recycling facility. Over the last two years, the facility has recycled 240 million litres of water, which is equivalent to 96 Olympic-sized swimming pools. Recycled water is the right water for keeping Yarra Park green, for flushing toilets and keeping the MCG clean.

11.01.2022 Ever wondered how the Royal Botanic Gardens stays so green and lush? By choosing the right water for the job! The innovative Working Wetlands project collects, cleans and stores rainwater that is used to irrigate the Gardens overnight. Thanks to Working Wetlands, the Gardens continue to reduce their reliance on drinking water. As an added bonus, the water in the lakes has also improved with a reduction in nutrient levels and the lowest level of blue-green algae outbreaks in years. Fun facts for the last 12 months: - Water consumption at Royal Botanic Gardens, Cranbourne was recorded at 30,271 kilolitres, representing a 26 per cent decrease from the previous year - Cranbourne Gardens also reduced its use of irrigation water by 80,000 kilolitres.
