25.01.2022 When businesses struggle, so do the lives of the business owners.... so great to hear there is funding for help these days

24.01.2022 Has anyone tried this? What did you think?

23.01.2022 There are some horror stories out there! Cover your bases :-)

22.01.2022 What a year! 2020 has been busy and stressful! Most of our clients endured business closures of between 6-12 weeks, and it's been very uncertain and trying times for many owners, their employees and families. During the chaos of this year, we took on the challenge of learning as much as we could about all the stimulus measures on offer so that we could take some of the pressure off our stressed out clients. JobKeeper, Cashflow Boost, JobSeeker, JobMaker, and so many new stimu...lus grants and other measures... all while we assisted our kids to learn from home! We did implode under the pressure a few times, but, if anything, this year has taught us we are more resilient that we thought possible. To add to the pressure, Jenny and I had both put our hands up to volunteer on NFP committees as Treasurer this year - me for my local cycling club, and Jen with her youngest daughter's kinder. A good deed, but possibly not the best timing?! And of course, after a delayed handover date, we embarked on our business transition. I went from being Jen's bookkeeping support over the last 2 years, to taking over the reins of Ringwood Bookkeeping and Jen becoming my support. After working in my own business part-time, this has enabled me to grow more quickly and get closer to my goal of working for myself full-time. Jen has been relieved to handover the business management side of things and focus more on clients, and course spend a bit more time with her young family. With such an unusual year, we really do wish you, your family and colleagues a peaceful and healthy holiday season and more predictable year in 2021. Our best wishes, Andrew and Jen. Bookkeeping support over the Christmas holidays: We will be closed from 24 December and returning to normal operation in the new year on January 11. Emergency support will still be available but will be subject to out of hours rates (1.5x the normal rates). -- If you've been happy with the help we've given you, please share the love! Recommendations to fellow business owners and online reviews are the best gift of thanks you can give :-)

Keep an eye on this Vic Govt Grants & Assistance page - there are some little gems like this Outdoor Eating and Entertainment Package.
