13.01.2022 Post match presentation for final

09.01.2022 Another cracking game of cricket today at the grand final against Marist cricket club. Batting first we got of to a rocky start with 3 wickets down for not too many. Then Krishnakumar Subramanian and Craig Fernandez came together. They ran hard and hit boundries in between and kept the scoreboard ticking. But after Krishna got out we had a collapse and were bowled out for 111. Craig top scored with 45, Krishna 25 and a very useful contribution from Prashanthan at the end. Wh...en it came to our turn in bowling, everyone who bowled today did an exceptionally great job. But the pick of the bowlers would have to be Robin and Vishal. Vishal grabbing 4 wickets to his name. Krishna and Renju also provided some crucial break throughs. Feilding was at its very best today. Jaggy and Gurpreet took some screamers . None of the Marist batsmen were given a chance to settle down and were bowled out for 97. Truely amazing season. Where did we start from and where did we end up? Proud of every single player that has represented us. I would like to thank everyone who gave their all. Special thanks to our ex players who have helped us out too. Sajeev, Jethin, Raj and Nidhin. Thanks for being there whenever we needed you guys. Captain Bobby, thanks for being the backbone and starting this team. We have made a name for ourselves and all credit goes way back to all your effort to make this team. Hats off to Krishna for batting with one hand and bowling with your hurt hand and fielding for us too. Also special thanks to Sree for coming out and playing inspite of becoming daddy and having his personal life to deal with. Im sure we all appreciate it. What a game to win today ,a game full of emotions, tension, thrill and high energy levels. Once again Thank you, Bobby, Robin, Craig, Gurpreet, Jagdeep, Shonn, Renju, Sree, Prashanthan, Vishal, Krishna, Sajeev, Jithin Raj and Nidhin.

04.01.2022 Welcome every one to Rising stars cricket club page

03.01.2022 Today we witnessed one of the best ever games, and by best this may very well stay the best of all our careers. What a splendid game of cricket it was between Colts Cricket Club and The Rising Stars. Colts won the toss and chose to bat. We were already missing our superstar Krishnakumar Subramanian . It was a hard toiling 40 overs in the heat which saw an amazing innings from Craig Hughes who scored a century and was greatly supported by Michael Flynn and Jason Marney afte...r they lost their two openers early in the innings. Colds ended their innings at 215/6. Our new find Renju George was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets to his name In reply we got off to a disastrous start. Losing both openers with the not much on the board. Robin Mathew then made a quick fire 24. Although we maintained a very good run rate we found ourselves in trouble at 80/5 and then 111/6 just before drinks. This was when Jagdeeps Singh-60 and Shonn Dolphin 31 got together and scripted one of the best counter attacks and steadied the ship. What a pleasure it was to watch them take on the bowlers and swing the game back in our favour. However losing them both in a span of 4runs left us reeling at 172/8 requiring another 44 in under 9overs. Talk about pressure and a comeback. This saw Renju George and Prashanthan Subramaniam arrive at the crease. We couldn't even blink an eye with the way these two blokes approached the game and got us home with 5 balls to spare. An unbeaten ninth wicket partnership of 44. It was so good that we would have paid to watch the entire game. It was a game that swung in both directions till the very last ball. From a team that just started this season, to have our inexperienced players in their first season producing such a game and fight out there today we could not be any prouder and overwhelmed. Well done boys and thanks to the Colts boys for an amazing game fought out till the end. This win is special and is an absolute confidence booster for all the team members

03.01.2022 Won the T20 championship for 4th grade in BDCA. Great game today boys. Batting first got 115 against marist cricket club. Great batting by Krishnakumar Subramanian who holded innings together with another half century. Then the bowlers did a great job well supported by our fielders limiting marist to 98. Really proud of each and everyone who are part of the club. It all feels like a dream. It all started with a bunch of freinds who played cricket together on sundays for fun.... Apart from 3 or 4 players most of us are playing club cricket for first season. Also big thanks to BDCA and all our sponsers for their support and made our dream of starting the club possible.

02.01.2022 Great match boys against Collie cricket club. Won the game convincingly at the end after initial stutter on 2nd batting. Everyone played beautifully. Our champion player Krishnakumar Subramanian scored 64* and took 4 wickets. Well supported by Jagdeep, Chahal and Raj. Bowlers all did a good job keeping tight lines and limiting them to low score. Scores Collie cricket club : 127/9... Rising stars: 128/6 See more

01.01.2022 It was a great night for our club at the BDCA presentation ceremony 2017-18. We fininhed the league in 1st place as Minor Premiers. Krishnakumar Subramanian won 3 awards in 5th grade Cricketer of year most wickets(shared with Robin) and bowling average. Robin John Mathew won the most wickets (shared with Krishna). You guys really made us proud. Also many thanks to all our players without all their combined effort we wouldn't have made this far, winning the 4th grade T20 and making to the 5th grade final. Now its time for the finals this Saturday. Come on boys lets win the last game off the season and finish it off on a high note.
