23.01.2022 And we're back, as promised! We've been working hard during our planned closure to secure local vets as well as a couple of our regular locums to ensure we can have the clinic back up and running, safely, for the remainder of November. Not only have we been having to work within the current COVID-19 restrictions and border closures, but we've also been struggling with a nation wide vet shortage. We have been, and will continue to do everything we can to ensure Albury Wodonga..., and surrounding communities continue to have access to the gold standard services that our fully staffed and purpose built Emergency and Critical Care Hospital provides. Our opening hours for November will continue to be 6pm-9am Monday nights to Thursday nights, and 24 hours over the weekend from 6pm Friday, to 9am Monday mornings. Our talented team of experienced Emergency Vets and Nurses are back in the clinic for all your after hours emergencies. See more

23.01.2022 Happy Halloween, hope all the black cats are in tonight! If you have a spooky Black cat, send us a picture, We will be here all night for your pet emergencies if you need us.

18.01.2022 Important Notice To all our valued clients We will be temporarily closed from Monday November 2nd to Wednesday November 12th due to a lack of veterinary staff and an inability to remain safely open. We unfortunately are being impacted again by the current COVID border restrictions and a nationwide veterinary shortage. Dr Emma, who has been with us for 3 months is moving on as she and her partner continue on their working holiday around Australia. Emma has been a valued ...member of our team, with her dedication, expertise and skills in Emergency and Critical care. We are very sad to see her go and wish her all the best in her next adventure. Unfortunately have not been able to replace her with another full time vet in the short term. From the 12th of November we are planning to open again with the support of local vets and part time locums who are generously supporting us to remain open by taking up shifts here in addition to their other full time commitments. We are working hard to recruit a full time locum or permanent vet to come into the area. We apologise for any inconvenience and would like to reassure you that your regular vet will have staff rostered on to provide afterhours emergency care for your pet over this time. As soon as we have any updates we will keep you posted. Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we work through all solutions to this dilemma. Hopefully as the border restrictions lift it may become easier to recruit vets again to this area of Victoria. See more

07.01.2022 UPDATE : This little dog is recovering in the care of a foster home through Albury Wodonga Rescue, thanks for all the enquiries, it is lovely to know there are so many dog lovers out there following this post. We’ve had an injured stray dog handed into the clinic tonight. It was found on the corner of Keene street and Andrew street in East Albury. We are providing first aid care here tonight, but need to find the owners. Looks to be a little farm dog, no microchip. Anyone w...ho may know who owns this dog, could you please contact us before 9:30am on Friday morning. Please share! See more
