24.01.2022 Congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 students who competed in the BASSA Winter Carnival today. All of our students should be commended on their efforts, their teamwork and their sportsmanship. Our A and B division netballers are bringing home two shields, with our C division team in third place. Our AFL team had a great day, winning 4 of their 6 games.... Our boys and girls soccer teams both finished the day in 4th place. Hockey results will be updated once received. Thank you to our teachers who accompanied our students, thank you also to students from Baldivis Secondary College for your support. Thanks also to our parent cheer squads who came to watch!

24.01.2022 Dear Parents & Carers, This year we have been required to adjust the format for our P 6 Presentation Assembly to ensure that we meet Phase 4 Restrictions. Date: Friday 11th December, 2020... Time: P Year 2 9.00am-10.00am Years 3 6 11.15am-12.15pm Each award recipient will be allowed to invite 2 guests to attend the presentation. Unfortunately, only these guests will be able attend the presentation. We thank you for your support and understanding during these unprecedented times.

24.01.2022 Did you hear a rumble this morning?! Our whole school participated in the Great Vegie Crunch! The Great Vegie Crunch aims to get children around WA crunching together on vegetables - and having fun! We would like to thank Foodbank WA, Spudshed and Vergone's Fruit Stall Dwellingup for their very generous donation of some delicious vegetables. Our students absolutely loved crunching on carrots, celery, cauliflower, broccoli, capsicum and cucumber.... The Crunch-O-Metre recorded an amazing crunch - as loud as a crocodile!

Dear School Staff, Both of the Traffic Wardens who work at the Children’s Crossing on Baldivis Road near Clyde Avenue are unable to work tomorrow (Friday 25/9/2020). ... Unfortunately we have no relief staff available to cover the position. Please inform your students and the school community to be vigilant whilst crossing without the warden’s present.

21.01.2022 P & C Update Fundraisers - A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered at our recent Colour Explosion Run4Fun last week! It would not have gone so well if it wasn't for your help. Thank you to everyone who raised money for this event. ... We made a total of $7,487 !!! A special thank you to all of our Rivergums families who have supported us in 2020. We really appreciate the ongoing support. We look forward to our events in 2021. Canteen News - Our Canteen is holding a Gingerbread Fundraiser - all funds raised will go towards a much needed pie warmer. This is a CASHLESS event, all orders must be placed via the Qkr app. See the flyer on this page. The last operating day for the Canteen will be Thursday 17th December. Parents Facebook Page - For those parents and caregivers who are not aware, there is a Facebook page that is run by two Rivergums parents. This page is utilised by parents, our canteen and P&C. It’s a page that parents can use to ask anything Rivergums related, sell second hand uniforms etc, P&C post information regarding fundraising events, Canteen post their daily specials etc. It’s a great page to be a part of and you are kept up to date with what is happening within our school. 16.01.2022 Each Friday, our students love finishing their assemblies off with a community song led by Mr Wright - usually one they have been practising or listening to in their music lessons throughout the week. It's a great way to start our Friday mornings. Music and movement helps the body and mind work together and sets our students up for a fabulous Friday! 13.01.2022 2021 Book Lists Our 2021 Book Lists were handed out last week. Our preferred supplier is Ziggies Educational Supplies, a WA owned and operated business. Ziggies supply quality branded products. ... Purchasing your Book List through Ziggies benefits our school - we receive a commission from each Book List purchased! This allows us to put the money back into the school and purchase quality resources for our students. You have the option of putting your order in and not paying until pick up day - 29th Jan 2021. Orders must be handed back in to the Admin Office by Friday 27th Nov - this week! Collection day is Friday 29 Jan 2021 from 10:15-11:15 am.

10.01.2022 A message from our Associate Principal Goodbye To the amazing parents, families and Rivergums community members,... It was with mixed emotions that I am writing to you to tell you that I have won the Principal position at Rockingham Beach and that my journey at Rivergums has come to an end. I would just like to thank all of the community for supporting me in my role since we opened back in 2016. I have thoroughly enjoyed working side by side with parents supporting individual children and families. I am so appreciative of the relationships that I built with the P and C and School Board. I would like to thank Julianne and Todd for being such active members of the community and supporting the school in all of its endeavours and leading these very two important parent bodies. I will miss all of the daily conversations and sharing successful moments with you. I wish everyone the very best with the future and I will miss you all. Best wishes, Jackie Redfearn

You will then receive an 8 digit receipt number which must be written on the back of the Wish List along with your details. This then becomes a pre-paid voucher that can be exchanged for any books at the Book Fair. Your child will then bring this to the Library and exchanged for the items listed/paid. Although every effort is made to ensure your child brings home the correct item, please understand that there could be some errors or changes of minds. If there is any discrepancies, please contact us and we will try and solve as best we can. EFTPOS is also available and families are welcome to attend before and after school. Please note that there is a limit of 10 adults in the Library at any one time. To avoid a queue, we recommend you use the Wish List pre-payment option as above.
