KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Operation of harvest equipment. Operate trailed/linkage spray units. Operate trailed and 3-point linkage fertiliser spreader. Operation of planting/seeding equipment. Operate equipment independently. Carry out maintenance of plant and equipment. Keep accurate records and ensure equipment is regularly cleaned. Manage and work within a small team. Maintain farm operation records to deliver QA compliance. Active participation in the team’s work, health and safety culture. Supporting tasks where agreed with team when on leave or by agreement. TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL REQUIRE: Technical expertise: including proven farming expertise, Harvest and seeding/planting experience, Drivers licence. Chem Cert, experience in the use of GPS software, apps and basic computer skills are highly regarded. Self-management skills: including the ability to carry out tasks in a timely manner and efficiently plan and co-ordinate operations. People management skills: including the ability to be a good communicator, part of a team that openly seeks answers to challenges, mindful attention to two-way communication and be a honest and genuine communicator.
