14.01.2022 Sugarloaf Hill trip a couple weeks back. Who said there was nothing to see around the Riverland? Seventeen of us headed over to the area pictured in Loch Luna Reserve on Lake Bonney. THANKS heaps to Tim for showing us what there is to see and explaining what we were looking at. More Field Trips coming up soon. All within 50 or 60 Km of the Clubhouse. Keep your ears open as they are announced soon. All welcome including Club Friends but need to register, sign on etc. to cover us for insurance. Thanks too to Stuart and Mary for providing the photos
13.01.2022 Stuart, Dennis & Trevor went to the Berri Primary School Expo yesterday afternoon to show what can be expected at the Club. Lots of interest from the students especially in the "Freebees" but also interest from parents. Looking forward to feedback and "visitors" Also spoke to one of the teachers there with respect to having a visit of his class to the Clubrooms sometime in the future. Any other interest? Contact via FB or to Trevor (0419 859 119) and we will see if we can arrange an info arvo
11.01.2022 So Gems & Minerals are not all we do at the Riverland Gem & Mineral Club. Have a look at the recent "Silver smithing" Course ran over the week 19th - 24th October. Heaps of thanks to our GMCASA visitors (Doug & Alan) for running the course. The results are a first try for all the participants and everyone was happy with the results. Also had a "Wire wrapping" course last weekend and will put up the results soon.

06.01.2022 The latest news from last nights Club meeting. Firstly we are changing our Wednesday Workshop time for a trial period (March & April) Wednesdays W/S will now be 5:30 - 9:00PM. This is with a view to enabling flexibility for our "working members". So don't come at 1:30pm after next week (26th Feb). Also we are expecting a visit from the Southern Rockhounds for the March long weekend. So we are cancelling Saturday W/S so we can show them around the Riverland. Also all "Key holders" will be unavailable over Easter for various reasons so Easter Saturday W/S is also cancelled. SEE YOU SOON
