19.01.2022 Thank you to the brave firefighters of the CFS. Without you we wouldn’t have a club today. For those that don’t know the Hillier fires made it to our oval on Friday. If it weren’t for the efforts of our local heroes things would of been a lot worse for our club. Thankfully they got there just as the oval started to catch fire. So again thank you from everyone at Riverside Cricket Club and hopefully we can further show our appreciation in the new year. 18.01.2022 It may have taken until the second last game of the year but the boys have finally broken the drought! Riverside A grade defeated Enfield outright by 7 wickets. The most notable moment of the game being Lachlan Colbourne hitting his first ever 6 !... It has been a tough year but a real credit to all the boys who have turned up all year and those that have filled in where they can. Thank you to Enfield United Community Cricket Club who played the game how cricket should be played and also stuck around for a few beers and stories after the game. Next week we are away to ATCO for our final game of the season. Would be great to finish the year off strongly. A big thank you to all our wonderful sponsors again. Without them, getting on the park this year wouldn’t be possible.

10.01.2022 This week brings us back home to the David vs Goliath battle we have been waiting for. We welcome back Kieran Miller and Josh Colbourne from their European sojourn. At the same time we are saddened to be farwelling Samuel Robinson. Unless we can convince him to extend his leave for a 3rd time just to help the club out. Hopefully Daniel Jeffery can continue his fine form after a gutsy knock making his first 50 for the club. While his Over 35’s team mates Sam Bambery and Anth...ony Scholz winding back the clock with some very good bowling. 02.01.2022 Anthony Scholz Testimonial Game As the curtain comes down on another season it also spells the end of at least one glittering career for the 27th time. What can one say about a man that he hasnt already said about himself? "The Package" has been an integral part of the Riverside community for the better part of 16 years. ... His mild manner and quiet disposition will be missed around the club, but hopefully he still calls in to remind us of "that run out" and many other legendary stories he has blessed us with over the years. As luck would have it Anthony finishes against good mate Ben Knox and ATCO this next 2 weekends. So if anyone has the time to call in to Daunstey rd and have a beverage with the great man.
