25.01.2022 We always offer free mini golf to all Mums on Mother’s Day as a way of saying thank you and acknowledging all those things that mums do everyday that go unnoticed. This year due to Covid-19 restrictions we have had to close the garden golf course. So, Mums, call in on Sunday, mention this post and receive a free golf game voucher for when the course is allowed to reopen. Happy Mother’s Day to all mums from Riverside Gardens.

25.01.2022 Unfortunately with the Stage Four Restrictions we have had to re-close our very popular Laugh A Lot Links Mini Golf course. The gardens are still open though for customers to walk around as part of their daily exercise and with views like this it is hard to beat and very easy to unwind. Two laps of the main track around the gardens is equivalent to one kilometre. Again we ask you to be mindful of others and follow social distancing guidelines.

23.01.2022 Hi All Yes we are open for our normal trading hours at the moment. All we ask is that you respect the group in front of you with social distancing guidelines. We sanitise all clubs, balls and pencils after each group returns. So come on out and enjoy some relaxation and fun in the outdoors. 21.01.2022 Looks like 3 is the score to beat. I think it will be par two but it is sure to get some in a lot more trouble than that.

20.01.2022 For all the locals taking their Isolation seriously and looking for a place that they can exercise without compromising their self-isolation, we are offering our Golf gardens for use free of charge. Since the ‘Laugh A Lot Mini Golf’ is closed until further notice, the five acres of gardens are still being maintained and sitting idle and would make an ideal exercise area. The main track circling the lake is 500 metres around and there is ample lawn space that can be used to do... your work outs on. So, whether you are looking for a quiet place to walk or a full-blown workout, the space is available. Bookings are essential so that numbers can be controlled. Bring all your own equipment, follow all government guidelines on isolating and respect the space of others who may be in the gardens at the same time. The gardens can be booked for use between 9:00am and 5:pm each day by contacting Riverside Gardens Garden Centre on 5823 1515. Stay safe and stay healthy See more

20.01.2022 Hi All Our Laugh A Lot Mini Golf is closed again due to the lock down. At this stage we will be opening up for golf again on the 4th of June. Until then you are welcome to use the gardens as your exercise area. We have plenty of open space lawn areas for you to do your workouts on and the main gravel track around the course is an good scenic undulating running or walking track , 500m per lap. While you are here you can also grab a take away coffee from the new Milestone Café ...Bistro next door. Stay Safe, Stay Well and Stay Active

19.01.2022 During the Covit closure we took the opportunity to redesign and replace hole number 11. Once we demolished it the Garden Centre became very busy, so it has been a slow rebuild and was not ready in time for the reopening of the course. Here is a Sneak Peek at our new hole number 11 which will be up and running very soon. We think it will keep a few golfers on their toes and be a bit of a lucky break for others. Like our other new holes, it is sure to offer a challenge as well as plenty of laughs. Don’t worry until this hole is open there is an extra hole in play to keep the course at 18 holes

18.01.2022 Mini Golf Is Now Closed Until Further Notice Unfortunately with the Stage Tree Restrictions we have had to re-close our very popular Laugh A Lot Mini Golf course. The rulings about playing golf during stage three require players to be no closer than 100 m apart and in groups of two per hole so regretfully this rule us out. The gardens are still open though for customers to walk around as part of their daily exercise and with views like this it is hard to beat and very easy to unwind. 15.01.2022 Who is up for the challenge? Our new hole number 17 is now open. If you thought the old one was tricky enough this one is sure to set the cat amongst the pigeons with only one hole left to redeem your self. It is bound to be a hole with plenty of laughs.

12.01.2022 There has been something very important missing from this picturesque place lately. Laughter, hilarity and golfers! But not any longer, Laugh A Lot Links Mini Golf is open again from 8:30am TOMORROW!! Yahoo!!

12.01.2022 FORE!! It's alright it's gone. Stage Four done and dusted. We are open again so come out for a round of mini golf. A great way to spend about 45 minutes.

12.01.2022 Due to Stage 3 Isolation Regulations our Laugh A Lot Links Mini Golf Course has been closed until further notice. It is a shame because it is looking an absolute picture now with the deciduous trees all starting to flush with Autumn colour. During the closure we will be aiming to complete even more improvements to the course. Watch this space

07.01.2022 We are on a roll. Laugh A Lot Links Garden Golf Is Now Open Our Garden Golf course is now open on a restricted basis and under strict social distancing rules. With the easing of isolation guidelines, we are allowing a maximum of ten groups to play golf at any one time. Each group must also wait until the group before them has moved to their next hole before they approach that one. With five acres of gardens to spread out on there is enough room to adhere to these guidelines. Golf clubs and balls returned to the counter are to be kept separate to the rest, so that they can be sanitised before they are replaced on rack. Happy Golfing it is time to Laugh A Lot.

05.01.2022 Well it has been a while coming but here it is, our new hole number 11 and it has come up a treat. This par 3 hole is sure to cause a few heart aches for some but others might luck it in with a birdie or even an eagle. Sited on the rise at the end of the lake it also offers great views of the gardens. Drop in for a game this weekend and be one of the first to play it.

05.01.2022 The Autumn colour in the golf gardens is amazing this year. It has been such a shame not many people have been able to see it, so here is a quick peek for everyone who is self-isolating. Don't forget our golf gardens can be booked for anyone wishing to use the area to exercise as long as they follow all the guidelines on social distancing. It is a beautiful place to walk, run or work out in, peaceful, isolated and oh so picturesque. Very easy to switch off, relax and forget the craziness of the world around us.
