16.01.2022 Dear Committee and Members, While my heart is in the right place my head is way to far from it. So with massive sadness that I can not come close to describe, and when words from my mouth seem to come easily, is a reason why I need to inform you that I'll be standing down from the Committee and Club Captain effective immediately. I so hoped that I could have completed my final 7th year but I now know it would have be not souly about the club, to which I preach, but m...e. I so thank those that supported me, put up with me and thankful for the people that I would have never meet if I hadn't been lucky enough to have been in the position that I held or more importantly the club that I was at.#RGC #THANKYOU. 07.01.2022 It is with great please to announce that we have put pen to paper with Mark Bolton to succeed the great Frank Tedeschi as GM when he finishes up in December. Mark Boulton comes to us from Melbourne having worked in the golfing industry for over 20 years. He was born into the game of golf with his dad being a PGA golf professional and after working in hospitality management for five years, it was inevitable that he followed in his father’s footsteps and got back in to the gol...f industry in 2005. Mark has worked at Ivanhoe, Kingston Links and Gardiners Run Golf Clubs and most recently as Operations Manager with our reciprocal friends at Green Acres in Melbourne. He has been able to gain valuable experience in all areas of the golfing business including marketing, hospitality, revenue growth and finance and he can’t wait to take the reins at Riverside. Playing off a handicap of 8, he is extremely passionate about this great game. He is a family man and together with his wife Mel, daughter Asha (4 months) and dog Tobias (Kelpie) are really excited to arrive in Launceston. They look forward to meeting all of the family at Riverside and enjoying all the gifts that Tasmania has to offer. Welcome Mark Boulton

07.01.2022 Last night the Club held Frank’s Farewell where members, staff and friends of Riverside had an opportunity to say goodbye and thanks for an outstanding job he has done over the last seven years. We wish Frank all the best on a wonderful retirement and can’t wait to see him out on the golf course trying to play golf!

04.01.2022 The course is looking great today thanks to the hard work and dedication of our greenkeepers. Giving up their Sunday to mow the fairways! Thanks guys :)
