25.01.2022 These gnomes are excitedly waiting to leave Riverstone Neighbourhood Centre’s large Garden. The gnomes are off to the Quakers Hill Nursing Home for a complete makeover. After years in the sun looking after our large gardens, they are feeling a bit faded and ready for some TLC. The residents of the Nursing home have offered to put their skills to work and give our gnomes a complete facelift. "A big Shoutout of thanks to Quakers Hill Nursing Home for their generous efforts.... George, the 5th gnome from the front, is a huge U2 fan and is hoping for a black jacket like Bono would wear. Others say they are happy to wear whatever the painters chose for them. While they are all are happy for a change of scenery and a more gnomatic experience, they will be keen to get back to the garden because as we all know, there is no place like Rivo. Our garden is also undergoing a big facelift and is looking better each week thanks to the help of Riverstone Business Park . We will be running garden courses there in the coming months. Drop in on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays and say g'day!

16.01.2022 25 September was such an exciting day, with the Launch of our Sponsorship Agreement with DEICORP Community. We had a beautiful morning on the grounds of our youth centre, sharing delicious cake and morning tea, along with fascinating stories from people who have been connected to Riverstone and our Neighbourhood Centre for many, many years. This sponsorship will enable us to offer more support to our local community than would otherwise have been possible. At Riverstone Neighbourhood Centre, we believe that Community is much more than belonging to something: it’s about doing something together that makes belonging matter.
