25.01.2022 IPRA last round at Sydney Motorsport Park - Under & Over 2 litre combined grid - 47cars!

25.01.2022 Bathurst 12 hour 2014 start. The only hard part is getting up early to witness it but definitely worth it!

23.01.2022 Great job our panel beater did incorporating this carbon fibre piece into the front bar. Owner will be stoked!

22.01.2022 Round 2 of Improved Production at SMSP 13th June 2020. Finished the day as Over 2 litre champion. Most successful outcome so far for Peters BMW E36 M3-R and sponsors - Disc Brakes Australia, EXTINGUISHED FIRE & Road & Race Performance. Auto Action followed up by publishing a story about Improved Production - part of article here. Thanks to Andrew from Wombat Industries Photography, Riccardo Benvenuti from Priceless Images for photography and Auto Action for an indepth article.

21.01.2022 Some of my favourite jobs over the past few weeks.

21.01.2022 The beautiful Falcon (Matlock!) hasnt been collected yet, and in pops a Hillman Hunter for some TLC. Of course, you would all recall that the Hillman Hunter won the London to Sydney Marathon in the late 1960s, driven by Andrew Cowan, who is still around! Heres a shot of the Hillman and I took a photo of the falcon bird logo as well! K:)

17.01.2022 Nice bit of eye-candy mid week, Maserati needing some TLC!

17.01.2022 Another great shot by HSV Club Photographer Extraordinaire - Brett Davey. Thanks Brett! Also taken at Nulon Round 2 Wakefield

16.01.2022 MR2 Club asked to hold their meeting at Road & Race workshop with Peter showing them a few bits and pieces about their cars. It was a huge success. Here is an article from their Newsleter - Edition 9. Thank you MR2 club - it was a pleasure meeting your members and spending Saturday afternoon with you all - glad you enjoyed it. PH

15.01.2022 This is a Datsun V8 350Z - you dont see this often.

15.01.2022 Chanel 7 news came over for an interview with Peter the day Holden made their sad announcement.

13.01.2022 Two months have gone by without posting anything! Time goes by at a rapid rate! Heres a few pics of some interesting jobs.

10.01.2022 OK, its in, shut the lid - lets go home!!

09.01.2022 Corvette and Ferrari today - I do like coming to work!

08.01.2022 MRT members meet at Road & Race Performance Workshop

08.01.2022 And heres another rally car I recently set up.

07.01.2022 Heres a fabulous video taken by someone unknown. Would be even better with inside car footage as well (must buy a gopro or some camera!). This is Round 2 of the Nulon Nationals at Bulahdelah, 2015. Next round is Wakefield Park late July this year.

07.01.2022 Have lots of photos of fantastic cars that have been in the workshop over the past few months - will get around to uploading them soon. In the meantime, here is photo of one that came in today - an old Falcon! We expected Leonard Teal and the rest of Matlock to get out of the car, complete with their grey suits and hats on! These cars are quite intricate to wheel-align. This particular car has been to many workshops without success, and arrived here today, badly pullin...g to the left at only 40km. At 90-100 kms it would be extremely dangerous and very difficult to drive. Perfect now!!

06.01.2022 Nulon Nationals Round 2, July, 2014 teams stayed at the track at Wakefield ready for the big day.

06.01.2022 Dear Customers, having a short break. Will be back on 11th January to take care of your cars. Make a booking by phone message or Facebook if you wish. Happy New Year! Peter

05.01.2022 The story about the BMW E36 M3R. This model is unique to the Australian market and is the result of a joint project between BMW Australia, BMW M GmbH in Germany and the Late Frank Gardner. The vehicles were packaged especially for the Australian Super Production series and comply with the CAMS Group 3E Regulations.... Only 15 of the M3R model were built (all white) and changes over the normal M3 being ex-factory to significantly improve its performance. EXTERIOR: In addition to its usual aerodynamic package, the M3R has an adjustable splitter fitted as a flat extension piece protruding forward below the standard bumper/airdam assembly. An adjustable boot lid spoiler is fitted. A different style of wheel is used to allow the fitting of a larger braking system. The wheels are a BBS cross-spoke design construction. MECHANICAL: To improve performance, the engine control unit has been re-mapped, sump modified, compression ratio increased and a higher end-line limit used for the tachometer. A lighter flywheel, a racing clutch plate and a high-performance M GmbH-sourced clutch release bearing fitted. Power output in road-going form is around 242kW with a 0-100km/h time of 5.4 secs. Front discs and calipers are increased in size - AP Racing 6-piston calipers front, AP Racing 4-piston calipers rear and the ABS system is the same as that used for Group A racing. Suspension is modified to have a harder ride which is required for circuit racing. The trim height is minimised but meets with ADR requirements. ENGINE: BMW E36 M3R 6 cylinders, in-line, chain-driven DOHC, cast iron, cross-flow alloy head with variable tract inlet manifold. Capacity is 2990 cm3 - 3200 cc. Maximum Torque: 320Nm @ 3600 rpm - Racecar 500Nm Maximum Power: 242kW @ 7000rpm - Racecar 440 BHP Compression Ratio: 10.8:1 - 13.0:1 Induction: BMW E36 M3R Induction System: Motronic M3.3 electronic port fuel injection. Transmission: BMW E36 M3R - 5 speed manual Suspension: Independent, MacPherson struts, lower A-arms, coil springs, gas dampers and anti-roll bar.
