25.01.2022 #BREAKING The South Australian Government has announced Adelaides Christmas Pageant will go ahead on Saturday November 14 at Adelaide Oval. For the first time ...in history the Christmas Pageant will be a twilight event for Adelaide families. South Australian Premier Steven Marshall says the attendance number has not been finalised but could see around 25,000 people attend the event but it could change between now and November depending on the coronavirus pandemic. There will be a ballot system for people to come along, and we will be releasing that in the coming weeks. More to come.

02.01.2022 Amazing photos taken across Adelaide and SA last night! Check these out....

02.01.2022 Can anyone remember the aquarium at the end of the Glenelg Jetty? Early on Sunday, 11 April 1948, a vicious storm hit Adelaide with 81 mph winds (130kph) and al...most 72mm of rain. The storm was responsible for unroofing houses, bringing down trees and causing enormous damage throughout the city. Beach and coastal areas were particularly affected, with large and small boats wrecked and washed ashore, two ketches destroyed at Outer Harbour, a freighter torn from its moorings at Port Adelaide and, as our photo shows, large sections of the Glenelg Jetty, including the aquarium, washed away. One man became stranded at the end of the Glenelg Jetty when the mid-section was destroyed by the raging sea and was forced to wait until Monday morning for the seas to abate and the storm to pass, so he could finally be rescued. The other major incident caused by the storm was the beaching of the survey frigate HMAS Barcoo. It was driven ashore at West Beach and attracted large crowds of onlookers until it was finally refloated several days later at high tide. (From Adelaide Remember When). See more
