23.01.2022 Pt 2 Rassy the day after her first 6 min ride. A big difference in how more forward she is. I'm not having to ask so much to keep her moving and a lot better on the right rein. Keeping it short and simple for a start will be what gives this anxious girl confidence under saddle for the long run.

21.01.2022 Amir starts backing..

15.01.2022 Pt 4 The horse's had yesterday off as it rained all day so this is her 4th ride and I was so happy with how she went on Wednesday after 5 days off that I decided we would just head straight to the arena..

13.01.2022 Amir is here to be started under saddle.. Before we can start to do any serious work towards that though, we need to address his biggest issue which is separation anxiety and lack of focus on his handler. He also has no understanding of space and boundaries which, coupled with the former, can be a serious problem if he is separated from his mates and adrenalin kicks in. So we are focusing on yielding to direct and suggested pressure which encourages him to focus on me and use the thinking side of his brain. Today was his first session with suggested pressure and he is giving me more and more snippets of focus and starting to relax.

11.01.2022 Pt1 Rassy re starts her ridden career and as you can see she gets stuck easily and has a lot of trouble relaxing on the right rein (video mirrored) We keep our first few rides very short and simple and as you can see in the next video... it makes a big difference to how the horse progresses.

11.01.2022 Part 2 catching Literally 2 mins between video's (most likely i stopped having as much expectations on Fran when we cut the first video and she felt the change in pressure and was happier to allow me to put my left hand under her neck. It really does make a difference if you drop your expectations...)

09.01.2022 Rassy pt3 She has just had 5 days off while I've been at work so this is her first ride back since the last video we did. What a star..

06.01.2022 Doing some backing with the bareback pad on Rassy today and just establishing a relaxed frame of mind whilst we do so. She's taking it all on board very well..

06.01.2022 Amir starts the long line. How quickly does he pick up the stop after not quite understanding the first time?!
