13.01.2022 URGENT HELP REQUIRED DONATIONS NEEDED PLEASE SHARE THIS POST We need your urgent help. Please read this post in full. We need you now more than ever. Our No...rthern Rivers Koalas are in dire straits. Our population has been severely affected by deforestation, disease, drought and now fires. These fires are horrific. They really are. The fires in the Northern Rivers have been so extensive that we fear hundreds of koalas may have been lost. So far, we have received 12 koalas affected by the recent fires. Sadly, only two, a mum and joey called Flame and Spirit could be released back out into the wild. It really pains out heart. We’ve done our best for them and will continue to do our best. We are on call and expect to unfortunately receive more sick and injured koalas from the fires in the coming days and weeks ahead. It’s really so very sad for our koalas that we love so much. We urgently need to raise $50,000. This will help us make sure we have enough funds for the number of koalas that we expect to receive injured and needing immediate attention from these terrible fires. The funds will go straight to their care and it’s going to take a long time for them to recover. Our organization rescues more koalas than any other rescue organisation in NSW, yet we receive no ongoing government funding, so at this critical time we need you to help us. $20 supplies food for a sick koala for a week. Just $5 from each and every one of you would get us over the line. It’s just the cost of your cup of coffee tomorrow morning, but one that will help save a life. Can you answer our call? Can you answer the call of our koalas doing it tough from these terrible fires? I’m hoping that when I wake up in the morning we have reached our goal. Please donate now: https://friends-of-the-koala.giveeasy.org/urgent-help-requi

09.01.2022 Dolphin Fire are taking the need to self isolate very seriously. Therefore, we will be operating from the safety of our Legian Bali office until further notice. Business as usual. Stay safe all ... PEACE LOVE and BINTANGS.

02.01.2022 The Dolphin Fire Engineering’s Lord Howe Island office has been busy this weekend. I can’t think of a better place in Australia to be in lockdown. Lots of bird life, rainforest, steep hills, beautiful beaches, friendly people. Big thanks to Milky Way for the awesome accommodation, David Waterhouse for making all the arrangements, and Macka for his local knowledge. Hope to be back here one day when I can go to the shops and clubs, lol.
