22.01.2022 This week we have retired one of our favourites here at the stables. Midas Man seems like he has been around forever and gave us some fantastic thrills along th...e way. He won six times and placed another nine including a terrific win at Moonee Valley and a brave 2nd at Flemington on Australian Cup day. Midas Man and Clayton Douglas teamed up to win three races and give Clayton his first City winner and helped him along in the early stages as a professional flat jockey. Other jockeys to win on Tango were Courtney Pace, Toby Lake, and Linda Meech. Some great memories amongst the photos below. Here are two of our yearlings at feed time yesterday morning. The grey is a filly by Puissance de Lune x Loma Diamonds and the bay filly is the Rebel Dane x On Tour.

10.01.2022 Delighted to see Rebel Dane produce his first stakes winner last Saturday in Queensland. From a first crop of 26 2yo’s, his progeny are now hitting the tracks and his results are starting to look very good indeed. We are delighted with our filly by Rebel Dane out of On Tour and she is maturing into a beautiful filly. She will return to the stable at the end of the month and has shown the same speed her siblings have shown previously. 06.01.2022 Race 7 Moe 1600 BM58 Sir Dana Sir Dana heads to Moe on a very heavy track and to be honest Im not sure if he will handle conditions. I do know he is very fit and a very big strong horse, so happy to try. The favourite looks a good thing in the race but if Charlie can get through the ground, he will run top three in this race.

05.01.2022 Mornington Thursday 27th August Tour Down Under looks a great chance today after a nice jumpout at Sandown last Thursday morning. He has drawn well and will appreciate the wet track. Lachie Neindorf is one of the rising stars of the jockey ranks and he also takes the ride on Esposito Gold one race earlier. Esposito Gold will need todays run and the distance will be too short. She is closer to the end of her career than the beginning and I suppose today we just want to see he...r finish off the race and show she still has the will to be at the races. Art Major is a really good talent and delighted to have him kicking off today. He has drawn well and wears blinkers for the first time so no doubt he will run well. A word of warning though, he will need the run today and will also appreciate more distance.
