This day honours and commemorates the contributions of more than 65,000 honour Australian military, police and... civilian personnel who have served as part of United Nations and other multilateral peace and security operations that have contributed to international peace and security, since the first deployment in 1947. Since that first deployment in 1947 Australia has been involved in more than 70 separate missions regionally and across the globe. 20.01.2022 Bendigo RSL Veterans and Spouses Art Group, completely cleaned up the awards in the recent Heidelberg Story Writing & Art Competition. The guys took 22 prizes out of the 40 awards - SUPER PROUD !!!!!
