25.01.2022 I’m planning a run to Shepparton and surrounds on Tuesday 3rd December if anyone would like to jump on for a saddle fit? Not sure what to expect from a Performa...nce Saddlefits saddle fitting? We provide a thorough analysis of your horse both static and in movement. Then with you riding to see how the saddle performs. It might be a shim or some flocking adjustments are all that’s needed for your existing saddle and you are both sorted and good to ride off into the sunset! If not, we carry a range of demo saddles for you to try. This will give you a good idea of what works and what doesn’t for you and your horse. You can then search for the right saddle either new or second hand (which we are more than happy to come back and fit) or we can order a new saddle from our range of trusted quality brands. Assessments take up to 2 hours and we provide a written report that you can use and refer to going forward. Our aim is to ensure the best saddle fit solutions for both you and your horse so that you can get on with enjoying your riding. 18.01.2022 Getting some of the rye grass small squares sorted before the rain on Friday night. 2am starts to beat the heat. Thank goodness we didn't cut too much at this stage! So grateful for any rain mother nature but your timing is off

17.01.2022 Geez Hay ads are dull! There’s a lot of hay around at the moment because we have had some decent rain and everyone’s paddocks grew like stink. Lots of very cheap hay but it can be a gamble as to what you are actually getting in that bale! Robins Rural have been growing and selling hay now for over 20 years. It’s annual rye, weed free, sown, watched and nurtured throughout the year and baled at just the right time to ensure sugar isn’t too high but it’s still palatable. It’...s just good quality horse hay made by a passionate family team. We put our heart and soul into it! We have filled the shed but are still out on tractors getting rounds sorted. There will be oaten and rye rolls to come! Once it’s all done we will be able to get back to some deliveries. $10 a bale for grass squares delivered and stacked in your shed for locals and we can always organise trips further away for a bit extra. 16.01.2022 Silage is already done. Escorting the mower out to get started for this years hay harvest! Must clean the bugs off my windscreen summer is a comin’ everyone bugs and flies and heat and all the good stuff that goes with harvest time!

Sooo for the month of August only we are dropping the price to $10 a bale. The best thing is we can bring it to you and you don’t have to lift a finger! ... 06.01.2022 We popped some Millet in at home this year (just for something different). This stays green throughout the summer months. Suitable to graze cattle on but definitely not horses! After the long dry months of summer last year we wanted something green this year. This was sown fairly recently and has kicked away well with the recent rain but it’s fairly tolerant even without much rain.
